The forest

The date was 5/3/17. It was a humid afternoon. By this time, everyone was in their own houses eating dinner with their mothers, brothers, sisters, and fathers but not a boy named Josh Dun.

Josh was in the dark forest lost in his own thoughts until he heard a sudden noise that seemed like it was very close to him. "Hello?" The frightened boy yelled, no one answered. The boy yelled hello another time and still, no one answered.

Josh brushed it off thinking it was just a little squirrel looking for something to eat or whatever. He walked deeper into the forest, bored, he sang "Down in the forest, we'll sing a chorus. One that everybody knows." humming to himself then, he heard a voice singing back to him.

"Hands held higher, we'll be on fire." The sudden thought of someone being in the same forest frightened Josh so he ran. He ran as fast as he could not turning back to see whoever was in the forest with him.

Whilst he was running for what it seemed to be like an hour, he found a treehouse. Josh has been to this forest many times but hes never seen a tree house ever before. Curious, he walked up the mahogany coloured steps and in the tree house he saw a desk, a chair, and a notebook.

The boy grabbed the notebook and opened it.
In the notebook there was a list of names, a date, and what it seemed to be like an age.

Josh thought he was completely dreaming when he saw his own name in the black leather notebook.
Completely shocked, he finally realized he wasn't dreaming. Quickly, Josh ran out of the old tree house. Without looking, he bumped into this boy.

The boy that he bumped into was beautiful. Chocolate coloured hair, and the most brownest beautiful eyes that complimented his face very well. "Woah dude, watch where you're going." The unnamed boy said. "S-sorry.." Josh said.

"My name is Tyler, Tyler Joseph. and your name is?" Tyler asked. "My name is Joshua dun, but everyone calls me Josh."
"Josh is such a lovely name." Josh turned to a bright red and looked away just so the boy wouldn't notice that he was blushing.

Josh just met the boy and is already falling in love. Tyler broke the silence and asked "Hey dude, its getting pretty late and I'm guessing home is pretty far away since we're in basically the middle of no where, wanna spend the night over at my house?"

Without no questions asked, Josh replied with a "Sure."
