I wrinkled my forehead in annoyance. That was actually the most stupid speech I've ever heard from him. Our cabin was made of woods and not air-conditioned at all. It was the same as all the other cabins for God's sake! No wonder those two were skeptical.

I shot him a glare and he wouldn't want my annoyance to grow. So he just sighed and proceeded. "You are going to an initiation! How does that sound like, huh?"

Bradley on the other hand was bored to death. I rolled my eyes at Victor for prolonging the excitement.

"Wait, what do you mean?" The two newbie said in unison.

"Relax. It won't hurt. I swear. Are you ready?"

I didn't wait for their respond and started pointing my fingers to all direction, manipulating Louis and Hermes with my fingertips.

I made them move, dance and whatever I wanted them to do. At first I thought that being gifted with such power was ridiculous, if I was to pick any super power on earth, this wouldn't be found on my list. I didn't think it was a necessity until I learned how and where to use it, for example, making fun of people.

I know how to use it for good too, if you think I was despicable enough to deserve a smack on the balls. I used it to my advantage and for all the human beings I see that needed help. I just think that fooling around was more compelling.

My great grandfather was a puppeteer.

No, he wasn't Gepetto who created the world-renowned Pinocchio. He was an ordinary puppeteer blessed with the supremacy to command and stimulate people what to do by just moving and pointing his fingers accompanied by a prompt action being whispered inside my head.

I could only control humans, not animals. That was where it gets annoying. I couldn't command a flying cockroach to halt if it was about to land on my face of all the places on this earth, if a lizard opts to jump on my hair after I spent hours perfecting it, or if ever a bee decides to make my ear his beehive.

They were my dislikes.

I managed to get the newbie out of the room and into the field where new campers were being dropped. I made the two fools danced like crazy. It wasn't bad at all, I was actually helping them get noticed and gain admirers. See? This action wasn't as despicable and mean as you thought.

The act was getting pretty boring so I made them get drums and tambourine in the music room. I could feel their exhaustion and that's when I stopped, but too late though, Mrs. Harrias Rosenberg came into view and talked to the boys.

"Oh, we're so getting into trouble. I'm scared!" Victor laughed while getting his scissors and gel in his duffel bag. Of course, we got our back up plan all laid up if ever they suspect a thing.

Once they were back at the cabin, Mrs. Rosenberg asked what happened and what initiation we were talking about. We explained that the 'initiation' we were talking about was only giving them a new hairstyle like ours. Anyway physical change made inside the camp wasn't strictly prohibited. They won't kick you out of here if you dyed your hair pink or if you get your ears pierced.

"That's why we got surprised when all of a sudden, they started dancing and off to the field they go." Victor was the talkative one. Yes. I was glad you notice that.

"It's just a hairstyle." Bradley said in a nonchalant manner. "We didn't know it would freak them out."

"I don't know, Miss. We just felt like dancing and doing crazy things. It's as if someone's controlling our bodies. We didn't freak out." Hermes spoke for the first time, giving emphasize that they didn't freak out.

Mrs. Rosenberg raised her eye brows in distrust. "Fix your things before Lunch. We have an assembly at the Grand Arena." She narrowed her eyes while scanning the whole room. "Be nice, seniors." She said before heading out after she found nothing suspicious.

The three of us went out and left the cabin to Louis and Hermes. It was time to give them a break after all the humiliation they have caused themselves. We met Georgina along the way, also a camp buddy.

"Hey, man. You guys missed camp last summer. Last year was one of the best. I'll tell ya." She smirked, showing her dimples. Her long blonde locks were now curled and highlighted with red and blue.

"What happened to your hair? You were so patriotic that you had to put the American Flag on your head?" I said and she giggled.

Bradley and Victor were now talking to other girls behind us. "Not really. It's the UK flag, actually." She laughed even more. It was a bit lame but I decided to laugh with her anyway. "Oh, by the way, are you going to the Mid Summer Ball? Oh, Eleanor is amazing! She made last year's summer camp memorable!"

"That explains the tripled number of campers right now, I guess? Who is Eleanor? Another camp supervisor?"

"No, silly." She jokingly slapped my arm. "She's just another camper like us, but a very dedicated one. You know like when Demi Lovato leaded Camp Rock when it was on the edge of losing. Something like that."

"Oh."

"And the bad news is... she's now the undefeated champion in fencing." She was one of the campers that knew that I used to reign in fencing.

I took a moment to asses that. "I can handle her. I'll regain my title in no time." I spoke and as soon as our conversation finished, the speakers blared and Mrs. Roseberg's voice rang the whole field. It was the assembly and lunch time.
