AN: IM BACK BITCHES
Also tired
And hungry
But I'll do a chapter cuz why tf not
Also I replayed Life Is Strange and when Spanish Sahara by the foals came on all I could think of was my story (which is like really self centred I'm sorry but my own story had an affect on me to be honest which is like so rude and bad but still hahaha) and then my friend Ji just starts uncontrollably crying and yells "JAEHEE REST IN PEACE" and my other friend Dixie threw something at him but I don't know what it was but it broke and he like past out and Dixie just acted like she did nothing and I missed the whole cutscenes with the song in it so fuck you dixie and Ji you ruined it T^T

After I drop Jaehee off at school, I watch her walk in. It kind of hurts that she goes in one her own while most other kids have a friend to talk to. No matter what she tells me I know in my heart that she doesn't have any friends. It hurts because she's a kindhearted person, and I'm her only friend basically.
I snap back to reality and begin to drive home. I sometimes still find myself saying "Driver Kim, will you bring me to..." before I realize I'm actually the person in the drivers seat. I decide to drop by Saeyoung and Yoosung's house for a quick chat. We usually talk to each other more then anyone else. MC settled down a while ago with her wife and they kind of moved on from us. The only time we see MC is at RFA parties which we don't even hold anymore. V moved away and changed his number, he basically disappeared. He sometimes shows up in the messenger, but it's rare and it's usually late in the night. Zen... well, he hung himself a long time ago, back when Jaehee was only five. He was stressed and a lot less confident then we all thought he was. It was really unexpected. Sometimes when I get lost in thought, I remember in the messenger Jaehee wrote that she was going to "Hang myself in Zens hair -_-" It kind of hurts to remember, knowing that both people are now... well...
I pull in to Saeyoung and Yoosung's place. I get out of my car and make sure it's locked, then I walk up to the front door. I knock. Saeyoung answers the door, smiling at me. "Wassup, Cat dad?" He asks. He talks more calmly now, I guess it's because he's getting... well, older. So am I, and my daughter doesn't let me forget it for a second.
I force myself to smile back. "Hey, Saeyoung." I say. He opens the door wider and beckons for me to come in, which I do. Yoosung looks up at me and smiles, pulling off his red glasses and placing them on the papers he must have been working on. He comes over and hugs me. Typical Yoosung. He doesn't really say anything to me but sits back down. Saeyoung puts his hand on my shoulder and leans in really close to me.
"He's still trying to find a cure." He says in a quiet voice, making sure Yoosung won't be able to hear him. I nod solemnly. Ever since Yoosung finished school, which was a long time ago, he's been trying to cure Jaehee's cancer. Jaehee as in my wife. I don't think there's a way for him to understand that she really is gone. He left the funeral early because he cried so hard that he had thrown up. I had stayed.
It wasn't like anyone's cliche funeral where there's rain and everything is dark and horrible. It was actually a beautiful day. Jaehee deserved to be buried on a nice day. I couldn't leave my daughter home alone, so she was there too. I picked her up in my arms and brought her over to the coffin. It was opened, and she no longer had the oxygen tubes. A part of me was praying for a miracle, that she would wake up suddenly. But she didn't. My daughter deserved to at the least see her mother in person once, even if her mother wasn't really "there" during it. She seemed... peaceful. Like, she was finally resting after a long battle. And no, I don't mean a battle against cancer I mean a battle against life. And cat hair, there was a lot of cat hair too. I pulled a piece of her hair behind her ear, tears brimming my eyes. I let them fall. It was a funeral, it was only normal for me to cry. I was surprised I wasn't bawling like a child. After the funeral I cried a lot though.
