Meeting 5 seconds of summer

My heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to explode out of my chest. I was on my way to a 5 Seconds of Summer concert and I was beyond excited to go and my mom even bought my best friend a ticket too.

As we drove into the parking lot I saw thousands of teenage girls and maybe a few dads that got dragged into going.
We got out of my car and walked inside and some people were following us once we were giving the lady our tickets someone came up behind me and scared me.

My first instinct was to scream of course, then to bring my leg up and kick back but before I could do that someone grabbed my waist and turned me around.

"What the fuck!" I yelled at whoever just grabbed me.
And when I saw who it was I almost fell back if he wasn't holding onto my waist.

"Oh my god, I almost kicked you!" It was Calum fucking Hood!
They were all laughing at me and I was looking at them with wide eyes.

"What's your name?" Calum asked me looking into my eyes.
Witch I broke the eye contact because I'm a socially awkward piece of shit.
"Sydney"
"Like the city?"
"Yeah, like the city"
"Well, nice to meet you Syd!" Calum said, keeping eye contact the whole time.

Oh my god Calum Hood just gave me a nickname. We both kinda just stood there keeping eye contact, which was probably the longest I've held eye contact with a stranger or with anyone really.

We broke eye contact when we heard someone cough behind us. Guess who it was? It was Luke fucking Hemmings!
"Nice to meet you Sydney, and who's your friend?"

Oops I completely forgot my best friend, Natalie was standing next to me the whole time.
"I'm Natalie" I heard her say next to me, and I wasn't really paying Attention to what was happening because I was so shocked that Calum, Luke, Micheal, and Ashton were standing in front of me.

"Hello" I heard to boys say in sync, Micheal and Ashton said looking at us.
Through all of this Calum still had his hands around my waist.

"Ohh do you two girls want to see backstage in our dressing rooms?" Micheal suddenly asked us.

My eyes went wide with shock and Natalie responded for me and said yes.

As we walked through thousands of people and walked through the "authority personal" doors and onto the backstage area and the dressing rooms Calum's arm was wrapped around my shoulder and my arm wrapped around his waist, which wasn't voluntary because that was really the only place I could put it without looking really awkward but I'm not complaining.

We walked into the dressing room and was greeted with a smell of, well boys I guess. It smelt like cinnamon and something manly. And it was obviously kinda hot in there.
"Why are you wearing a jacket Syd?" I heard Ashton ask me.
I was wearing a black leather jacket with a white 5 sos shirt and black jeans with my black combat boots.

"I'm kind chilly, I guess"
"Oh well, I think it's kinda hot."
"It's fine, I'm always cold"
In fact it was actually very hot I just didn't want to take off my jacket because of all the small scars covering my wrist and up my arm.

"Oh okay, that makes sense I guess." Luke said making eye contact with me and furring his eyebrows looking a bit suspicious.

"So do you two live here in Australia?" Micheal asked us as we were sitting down on the sofa in the corner of the small room.
"Yeah we just moved here last week." Natalie responded because I was more focused on why Calum kept looking at me.

"Oh that's cool, how are you liking it here" Luke asked looking at me. But I still wasn't paying attention and was getting a bit anxious.
"Hey syd" Luke said a bit louder with a concerned look on his face.
"Oh sorry, I got distracted. But it's been nice here, but all we've been eating is fast food since our kitchen things haven't arrived yet."

I heard Calum sniffle a giggle and I turned to look at him!
"What?" I asked Calum genuinely confused as to why he was laughing.
"Hmm, sorry it's nothing." He said loping at me with a smile.

We spent the rest of the time talking and exchanging numbers and taking profile pictures. Then it was time for the concert to start so we had to hurry and get back but ended up getting closer seats than we originally had.

We had to go through the main stage and go off the side stairs trying not to get caught. My heart is beating so hard and I can feel an anxiety attack coming so I try to be quick and quiet.

Once we get down to our seats the show was starting and everyone was screaming and yelling. One of the girls next to me was telling me how Ashton had sex with her. Because that was totally true.

This is the most fun I've had in a long time and the most I've laughed in a while since my dad died.

I was singing along to American Idiot and then Beside you came on and I was singing so loud that I'm probably going to loose my voice. "When we both wake up underneath the same sun

And I saw that Calum kept winking and smiling at me and it was throwing me off.

But then it was over and I saw Luke whisper something to the security guard and soon after he stopped me and Natalie from leaving and took us backstage to
meet with the boys again.
