"Y/N!" Came a familiar voice of mum.

I was lying on my bed scrolling through twitter whilst the radio was playing in the background.

"You need to come downstairs." She called.

"Why?" I groaned back.

"Your father and I are taking you out for dinner. And because I said so!"

I sighed. I'm not really in the mood to go out tonight and I don't feel like socialising.

"I'm not even hungry..." I said more to myself than to her.

I rolled off my bed and made my way to my wardrobe. I looked through to see what to wear. Sighing at the little choice of colour I had, I decided on a Panic! at the Disco t-shirt, black jeans and some black sneakers... Iconic.

Before going downstairs, I turned the radio off, grabbed my phone and went to the mirror to try and make my hair more presentable. As I passed my brothers room on the landing. Two familiar voices came from your brother, Andrew's room. Dan Howell was the second voice. A smile came across my face as I came down the steps.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I entered the living room to find my parents waiting for me.

"Is Zizi's ok?" Asked Dad. (Zizi's is an Italian restaurant) "We haven't been there for a while so I thought it would be nice."

I nodded to signal i was ok with the choice.

"Can you ask your brother if he wants to come?" Asked Mum. "We'll be waiting in the car."

They both turned and walked out the front door and to the car. I sighed and turned to call for Andrew as I crossed the living room and up the stairs towards his room. The familiar strong smell of weed greeted my nose as I stood before the door. Sighing, I opened it and entered. There they were. Andrew sat on his bed with a rolled up cigarette in his hand and Dan, your brother's best friend, sat at the desk.

"What the hell do you think you guys are doing?!" My protective instinct kicking in. "Are you guys really getting high while Mum and Dad are here?"

"Y/N, you forgot to close the door." Replied Andrew in alarm.

He jumped up off his bed and crossed the room to close his bedroom door.

Dan faced me and smiled awkwardly. His awkwardness and shyness was a little cute. Dan had been my brother's best friend for as long as I can remember. He was always there to keep me sane from my brother's snidey comments. I'm surprised my parents haven't asked him to start paying rent because he's here all the time.

Andrew walked towards the desk and leaned against it.

"What do you want, sis?" He asked.

I asked them if they wanted to come to dinner with us, but then I got a text.

Your dad got impatient and left without you. We'll put money in your account if you want to order some pizza - Mum

A sigh escaped my lips. My high brother and his friend made me miss dinner.

"Great," I began, "you made me miss dinner. For goodness sake, Andrew. You frustrate me to no end!"

With that, I turned and stormed off to my room and lay on my bed. Honestly, I would trade my brother for anything. Deciding there was nothing I could do, I got out my phone and continued to scroll through Twitter. I got changed back into some comfy clothes.

Dan's POV

I felt guilty. Y/N didn't deserve to miss dinner because of us. I told Andrew I felt bad whilst stubbing out my cigarette. He chuckled beside me.

"Why?"

"I don't know, she totally caught us smoking and missed dinner because of it. It is kind of our fault."

He scoffed and shrugged. "Well, what do you want to do about it?"

"Maybe we can order some pizza or something."

He nodded in approval

"Order her favorite kind of pizza. That'll cheer her up." I smiled.

Whilst Andrew was placing the pizza orders over the phone, I walked out of his room to Y/N's room. I knock softly on her door and a "come in" signaled my entrance.
