*3 Years Later*

Kinsy and I sat under the blossom tree we had planted a year ago when her mother had died from a rare disease that didn't have a cure yet.

Ever since that day Kinsy's biggest dream was to become a doctor and make sure no one else suffered the way her mother had.

I was laying next to her, her head on my chest and my arm around her body.

I wonder why she's so smiley today, it's weird...

She's been smiling ever since we got back from her house.

I lived with her and her family since my parents didn't expect our relationship.

Luckily my brothers didn't care if I loved a fish, no less another female.

I'm now a peasant but I actually like this lifestyle better, I don't have to constantly smile and be perfect all the time.

I also didn't miss the big parties my parents held each year for my birthday.

I sighed and smiled.

This is what a birthday should be like.

When I felt her suddenly move I couldn't help but pull her back.

She giggled and held my arm.

"What are you doing?"

I blushed.

"S-sorry."

I let go and she grinned.

She stood up and pulled me up with her.

Once we were both standing up, me towering over her small figure, her grin got wider.

"I have something to show you."

She held my hand and I followed her to a dead, wilted willow tree.

She led us under the tree and I smiled down at her.

"Why are we under the willow tree?"

This willow tree was our special tree, it's where we first met all those years ago.

She looked up at me with glistening eyes.

"Do you remember how we met 12 years ago?"

I nodded.

"Do you remember what we promised eachother?"

I nodded again.

"It was that we would stay together forever."

She nodded and knelt before me.

"Do you remember what I told you the day after?"

I looked away.

She laugh softly.

"I'll remind you."
