I took care of children
I was 19-years-old
A prodigy at 9
A socialite all through grade school
Up to this summer life seemed predestined for me.
That was 25 years ago
When I think of it I can still remember
How lost I was
How everything fell apart
How everyone betrayed me
But I really didn't give any of them a chance
I just knew I couldn't give them control or say in my life.
The few I let in were amazing.
They were wonderful.
Except for the person I married.
We divorced after 14 years of marriage.
So many decades to get lost in
How can I start this story?
Just write.
