UnderVault Dump

Hey there guys, Turtle here!

This is just going to be a dump of art from an AU I'm helping create called UnderVault.

Be expecting a new book as soon as I finish the first chapter and get the thumbs up from the original creator.

If you have any questions about any of the characters/plot, just ask me. Anything before Waterfall is all set in stone for the most part.

Here is a quick run-down of what this AU is about.

It is not a fallout AU.

Basically, it's an AU that was first based on the headless horseman lore, but we've branched out quite a bit.

Normal monsters are fairy based, while BOSS monsters, aka the goat family, and Chara and Flowey are demon based.

The vault is basically an old building that has information in it that no one knows about. Like the war, rituals, summoning, monsters, etc.

Frisk, who is a little older in this AU, finds the vault and starts reading about the war, when a paper falls out which leads them to finding a small tunnel. The ground falls out from under them, leaving them in the pitch darkness of the underground.

They find a lantern with a SAVE fairy in it, which is their only source of light, unlike the well lit underground in Undertale.

Chara and Asriel both died trying to summon the headless horseman to attack the humans.

Also, I have a few ideas that I still have to run by the original owner that have to do with Napstablook and the fallen humans, so I'm going to not mention them until I get confirmation on them.

So, Toriel's first concept ideas...

Oh, good ol' Toriel...

So, Toriel is a demon in this.

She basically wants to sacrifice you to appease her sins.

Which this whole thing is basically a big joke, because in the Bible, humans would sacrifice goats to clean themselves from sin (scapegoat), but now a goat is sacrificing humans... I mean, I thought I was being absolutely hilarious with that hidden joke, but now that I'm saying it out loud, it sounds pretty baaaa-d. ... Okay, I'll stop now.

So yeah, Toriel never even makes a promise with Sans, if anything Sans is slightly weirded out by her.

After awhile, I made a solid design for her.

Okay, now onto the skelebros.

Concept art (since I never got around to making full colored art).

These two, are fairies.

And their main concept was actually based on the skin taker creepypasta. Basically... these two are in it for human skin. That's what all the traps and puzzles are for.

But, the thing is, Papyrus doesn't really understand that taking the skin from people kills them (Caaaaaarl). So, I guess he still kinda has innocence...

Sans on the other hand, knows the business behind it. He gets skins, he gets profit. And he's also in it for the fun. (Remember people, they are fairies, mischief and wanting to have fun is their middle name.)

However, since there was no promise from Toriel, you end up making deal with Sansy-boi instead.

(Btw, his side view is really fun to draw for some reason and idk why XD)

(Oh, and yes, Frisk is taller than Sans)

So, Sans makes a deal with Frisk. If Frisk can make his brother happy and play along with him and his traps (Remember Papyrus doesn't really have an understanding of the traps that are meant to kill humans, he thinks they are games) then he'll let them go and not skin them.

All that being said about Sans...

... don't go calling him a sadist, by no means does he get a bone-r(heheheh... puns...jokes... I really need to stop while I'm ahead.) by ripping skin off of people. I mean, in a way he is a sadist, 'cause he enjoys it, but he doesn't enjoy it sexually, so I guess he's only half-sadist.

(at least not really... this will be a choose your own adventure story, so you guys will get to see what he does if Frisk fucks up their end of the deal... he gets a bit... "odd" ;) )

Maybe make that 3/4ths sadist ;3

So, that's all I really have picture for at the moment. Obviously there is Undyne and all them, but I haven't gotten my slow turtle butt to draw them and stuff yet. :P
