Q: Would it be safe enough to say that the human mind and memory is like a hard drive [cough cough though many people like to store total rubbish in their minds, who sleeps with who, what song came out recently], where information that one seeks to remember forever stays, and other information can just be deleted?

I don't think people's mind is like that. In fact after further evaluation (and some lectures from Watson) I don't think the mind is as simple as that, however much I wish it was, it isn't. Watson proved my attic theory wrong by showing that I could play the violin after I had claimed to have forgotten to play so to make space for more information. However, who's to say what information is invaluable or not. You never know, maybe in order to solve a murder you need to know the rubbish things.
