I died a death that kept me alive
To be the phantom i could surviveIm half dead and half alive and yet i walk alone
With my heart as cold as stoneI loved the life but dreamed a dream
And hated the life you lived with me
I heard the whisper of your breath
After you left i died a painful death
Through Heaven i cannot part
From the heated love inside my heart
With my sadness i must thrive
To keep my hope and faith alive
With all the love i want to give
Im sure you would prefer to live
To the content not to survive
I want spirit to be hopeful and come alive
As i saw you slowly take your last breathWait it was me my dear who died a
painful death

Spilled emotions
PoetryYour prose is so delicate and straightforward. Your story telling skills are superb. These spilled emotions are phenomenally bottled and retold. - @Buzzthewildcat Cover made by buzzthewildcat
