Daria's POV

I sat up in bed, leaning on my elbows. I looked out of the window for the last time before getting ready for my last day of school. I took a deep breath as Highland approached. "This is it, Quinn. Make the most of your old friends." I spoke with nervous breath in my words.

"Daria! They're not old!" Quinn complained. I banged my head against a brick wall inside. Multiple times. I hoped she wouldn't say she was an only child when we moved to Lawndale. It is probably obvious that Quinn and I don't have the best sister-to-sister relationship.

Usually I'd hang out at the library, but I don't want to encounter Beavis and whatever-his-name-is. I just wanted to be out of that school. I left Quinn alone to talk to her friends for the last time. I desperately wanted to pack and go to Lawndale. When I got home, I immediately started packing my things. I took a few small boxes up and put all of my books and belongings in. One last time, I stared at the empty room. "Mom, I'm packed." I shouted, looking down from the white fences upstairs, leaning on my lower arms, before I hear my Mom's voice shouting back to me. "Thank you, Daria, bring your boxes down. Where's Quinn?" She asked me.
"I'll go get her." I sighed, dreading going to the school again.
"I have to go home and pack NOW?" My shallow sister exclaimed. "Fine. Bye everyone!".
