Coming home, exhausted, from a friends' wedding, tossing your coat on the bench as you slowly made your way toward the kitchen. Out of the corner of your eye you noticed a message had been left. Dropped your keys on the counter, you pressed the button.

'Hey it's just me.' You could hear how tired he was in his voice.

What now?

'I guess you're still at the wedding. Um, I'll be staying late again. They wanted . . . something different.'

Give me a break I barley get to see him because of this job and those . . . people are making it worse.

'I don't know when I'll be getting home. I'm sorry, bye.'

Deleting the message with a groan you slumped against the fridge, drinking a bottle of beer when you noticed his meal was sitting on the counter next to your keys.

GREAT, not only does he have to stay longer but he FORGETS his food too. That's just fantastic, really it is.

Grabbing your keys and the lunch you headed back out. Throwing it in the passenger seat and went back in the house, glancing at the clock as you slid on your shoes.

45 minutes not so bad Traffic better be on my side today

Arriving at the site were the house under construction resided you parked, turned off the engine, removed the keys and grabbed the bag. As you approached your eyes wandered around the property in awe.

It's coming along nicely, though it would be done by now if they'd quit changing everything. I mean he does have a life other then this job and he does have a wife who can't stand this, but won't say a word because her opinion doesn't matter

"Mrs. Roronoa is that you?" gazing in the direction the voice came your eye narrowed.

Oh great it's you

"Hey," it was none other than Zoro's boss, Sanji. "How have you been doing, you don't come by as often as you use to."

That's because I have a life as does Zoro. It actually involves me you dog droppings.

"Fine, I guess I've been a little busy." You muttered, not caring to converse with the idiot.

There's the look I hate. That's why I don't come around that and I know you're envious that Zoro got to me first. One of these days you're going to get caught giving me that look and you'll be sorry. Everyone who does normally is.

"Where's Zoro I need to talk to him it's really important."

Why is he looking at me like that? It's rather annoying and disturbing.

"Is it something bad?" you raised your brow merely annoyed with him prying into your business.

What the hell? What does he think I'm divorcing Zoro or what? He gets that bloody look in his eye every time I say I need to talk to about something important. Gods do a girl a favor and drop dead

"I believe he's inside, somewhere upstairs possibly the kitchen. I'm not really sure." as you walked away he shouted after you "Good to see you again Mrs. Roronoa."

DAMNIT!!!

Raising your hand "yea you to." an awkward feeling formed in the pit of your stomach, of being watched as you walked into the house.

Not only does he make me feel old, but he always makes me feel dirty. Damn perverted bastard, why does that chain smoker have to be Zoro's boss?

Heading up the stairs toward the kitchen, with finished mahogany wood floors and cupboards, black granite countertops, and stainless steel sink. Zoro was standing at the counter leaning on his hands, eyes staring intensely at the blueprint. Back muscles tense, pulling the black button up shirt taught. The sight alone made you bite your lower lip. Quietly slipping your shoes off you made your way over, placing the bag on the counter, watching at him, completely unaware that you were there. Until you placed a hand on his back, startling him, quickly turning to see how was the culprit.
