I kept re-reading the GPS. I couldn't really put my finger on it but nothing felt right, or maybe I was just impatient. I had 3 hours to go before I reached their headquarters. I had no plan, no plan at all. I kept hitting my head on the steering wheel, what am I suppose to do?! Each mile I passed felt like an entire year. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. Ah, clear my mind, clear my mind... *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* :Incoming
I jumped up nearly out of the seat and pressed accept on the GPS. "Greetings young one, I see you are two hours away now from your destination?" I check the clock. Exactly an hour had passed by, how? "Uh, yeah." He sensed my hesitation and cocked an eyebrow up.
"Are you having second thoughts young one? We could send some of our specially trained agents to save him."
I shook my head, all the thoughts of giving up flew out and my face went straight. "I need to do this for him. I can do it, thank you though." He nodded and then walked away from the screen for a second to talk to someone. I just kept on driving.
I don't know what I'm going to do when I get there, I have the blueprints. Just then the first part of my plan began to materialize in my head. I'm going to find a way to get into their hideout, and then find his cell. Then find a way out. "Young one! We need to cancel the mission! They know of your training and are in route right now to kill you!" I checked my gun and looked at him, "Where are they?" He uploaded the GPS map and they were right in front of me.
I picked up my gun. "I'll talk to you in a bit." My hate began to grow and fester. I cocked my gun and hit play on the radio. My favorite song, began playing. Holding out for a hero, perfect. I gave myself a cocky grin and saw the first truck coming after me in front of me.
Where have all the good men gone, and where are all the Gods?
I set the truck in auto and stood up on the roof. I aimed my gun at the driver and shot. I missed and he began to swerve. I picked up my .45 and shot the gun man on top and then at the gas tank. The truck exploded and flipped over.
I need a hero. I'm holding out for a hero till the morning light.
I saw three trucks come over the horizon. I got back into the driver's seat and took off auto pilot. I parked the truck and walked out into the road. I picked up my automatic and stood in the middle. Three trucks circled me and I jumped up into the air dodging bullets, so many gun shots were going off.
Somewhere beyond my reach, there's someone reaching out for me.
I shot out the tire of the first car and the gang jumped out from the trucks. They all circled me and dropped their guns. They ran after me and I kicked one in the face while shooting the other. I pulled out my sword and sliced the big burly guys head off and cut through a few others. It was a bloody massacre but the price of blood for blood will be paid.
Its gonna take superman to sweep me off my feet.
I shot at the third truck and it exploded leaving nothing but flying pieces of vehicle in a burning inferno. Seven guys came at me and I knelled down. They all took out their guns and I jumped up as soon as they shot. I threw my swords both landing in two of the guy's heads then shot my dad's .45 and killed the rest of them. I landed softly then walked up to the driver of the first vehicle who was gasping for life.
I need a hero. I'm holding out for a hero till the end of the night.
"Who sent you?" He shook in fear of me. I glared at him. "Who sent you!" He flipped out and started crying. "The leader, our boss. He wants you dead, he says you're a threat to the gang." I smiled at him. "Thank you for your time." I punched him in the face and walked back to the bodies. I grabbed my swords and walked back to the truck. The song barely ended and I drove away from the inferno and massacre. "Hey I'm back."
He stared blankly at me from the screen. "You love him truly, don't you?" I nodded. He smiled and began relaying the plan he had came up with.
Rolland's Point Of View
"So we want you to see why you need not worry about dying so soon Rolland." I nodded as the big guy was talking to me. "You see, he began training and is being killed as we speak." My head shot up. I just stared at him blankly. The dream, it was real? How can that be?! I just stared out the window waiting for us to get there. We stopped and we both got out. A blood bath was in the middle of three burning vehicles.
"Sir!" The driver of one of the vehicles screamed. We both ran up to him and just stared at him. "The young one, he's... he's..." He gave out and died. I just stared at him. That means he's not dead? But Matt.. He's coming to save me?
"He's the one. Thee one." I stared at him in confusion. He dragged me back into the car and we drove off back to the hideout. They threw me in my cell and I laid down and just wanted to sleep, sleep... "Matt." I whispered before it went black.
I was sitting on the same white grass, I felt myself pulling hard on something. Not me but my very body felt strained and forceful. I took a deep breath. Matt was lying down next to me and he opened his eyes. "My love." I whispered. I picked him up and held him in my arms bridal style. "Are you okay?" He nodded and just breathed, he took steady deep breathes. "You took out our finest agents." He smirked and looked up at me.
"Finest? It was easy... I don't want to seem cocky but I don't understand how that was their finest." I stared at him then decided I should tell him what I heard. "They said you're the 'one'. I don't know what they mean but the called you thee one." He smiled again.
"Hun, we're SujiSu's. We're part God, and we're meant to be. From the beginning, our parents were Warriors, God's Angels. Can you believe that? That's why we can call each other to these dreams." I tried to register everything but I felt like I was being tugged on again. "I have to go now. I have to save you." I nodded and he faded away from my arms. Everything went black and I felt myself actually sleep. Save me Matt... My warrior...
I was awakened by a guard. He pulled me into our Leader's office. I sat in the chair as he stared at me, he seemed frustrated, scared. That word lingered in my mind for awhile. "Have you been having dreams?" I stared at him in confusion.
"No, no dreams at all." He raised an eyebrow. I wasn't exactly lying. I wasn't dreaming, I was merely calling him to me in another realm. He slammed his fist on the desk. "Do you know why he's on his way here?" I blinked with a blank face. I was frozen in fear to even answer. "He's coming because he wants to save you, but we're not going to let that happen." He pulled me back into the science lab and they strapped me in.
"Give him all the drugs we got. Overdose him if you have to, just don't let him die." I stared at the needle in fear and he stuck in three at once. I felt the pain shoot through my vein and my body began to grow warm. It was so hot in here, I was sweating.
I could feel the drugs running through my veins then evaporating. He kept sticking me and sticking me. I grew hotter and hotter the more they put into me. I could feel myself melting away. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on a better place. I thought of a beach, a soft calming beach with waves of cool mist. For a second I thought I was there till I opened my eyes. I had burned a hole through the metal under me and the scientists were burnt to a crisp.
I stared in confusion at them and then tried to unstrap myself. I was in complete shock. I stood up and started rubbing my wrists. I stared at the dead bodies.
"Did I do that?" I whispered out of nowhere. The boss came in and put his hand on my shoulder. He smiled at me. "Yes, and if you want to live SujiSu then you're going to do it again." That's the name Matt called me. Save me my warrior.
