I woke up at 6:00 in the morning with my alarm blaring in my ear. I slammed the snooze button and went back to sleep.
"Erin! Wake up you need to get to school!" My older sister called from the kitchen.
I groaned and slid out of bed and put on my bathrobe. I headed to the bathroom and started the shower. I looked at my face and my hair was everywhere, my face was crusty and my eyes were baggy. I splashed water in my face and took off my bathrobe.
The water was warm but cool enough for me to be awoken by the the temperature. I washed my body and grabbed a towel from the bathroom. I dried off and walked to my room in my bath towel.
I looked through my dresser to find a nice outfit but all I could find were some jeans and a blue collar shirt. I put it on and ran downstairs and found my sister making French toast.
"Thanks, but you didn't ha-"
"No its my pleasure" she interrupted.
I smiled and grabbed a slice if the toast and some syrup.
"You know I only have 20 minutes to catch the bus right?" I asked her.
"Yes but you have time to eat before you get to school so you won't have to eat the horrible school food." She answered.
"We okay, I guess." I said.
I finished and grabbed my purple jacket and my bookbag and left the house.
I passed by people arguing and heard dogs barking and cars honking.
