A/N: I've attached images of what Dean and Raegan Sparks look like. Thanks for reading! :)

"Mr. Sparks!" "Mr. Sparks!" "Where will you and your sister Raegan be moving?!" "Are you going to continue dueling?!" "Is it true that you will be working for KaibaCorp?!" the reporters were calling out non stop questions towards my brother and I as we meandered through the airport looking for our gate. "Ms. Sparks!" "Are you happy about going back to your childhood home or will you miss it here in Tennessee?!" "Do you resent your brother for making you move?!" the media began questioning me and I shrunk behind my older brother. Dean put a protective arm around me and stood as a wall between myself and the paparazzi as we finally walked to our gate. After a number of cameras flashed, Dean stopped in his tracks and stared icily at the mob of people before us.

"Enough questions! Raegan and I BOTH decided to move back to Domino City because it is best for the both of us. Yes, I received a job offer from KaibaCorp and I decided to accept it. Yes, I will continue dueling in my spare time. Raegan and I made this decision together, and we are both very pleased with returning to our home. Now leave!" Dean growled and at that, the reporters scattered. I sighed heavily and slumped down in a seat near our gate. Dean soon followed and put his head in his hands. "What's wrong Dean? You handled those guys pretty well!" I praised him and patted his back for kudos. Before Dean could answer me, the flight attendant called for our flight to be boarded and for first class to go first. Since Dean got a signing bonus from Mr. Kaiba, Dean bought us first class seats because it was going to be a long flight. We boarded the plane first and took our seats in the most comfy airplane chair that I ever had the pleasure of sitting in.

As we got settled into our seats, Dean finally answered my question. "I'm just worried that we made the wrong decision. I hope you don't feel forced to move, I never wanted that for you. I busted my ass to get a better job so we could get out of dad's house, get out of America, and go back home. Where mom raised us in her short time here, where our knucklehead best friend Joey is, and most importantly, where I feel that you are the most safe" Dean explained as he tilted his seat back slightly. My chest ached hearing his words, and I knew that all he wanted was the best for me.

Dean and I grew up in Domino City until I was 8 years old and Dean was 10 years old. Our father got a better job offer in America, so we moved there for his work. Our mother died when we were very young of cancer, which caused our dad to turn into an alcoholic. Every single night without fail my father would bust open the door to our home, stumbling drunk, and start yelling and screaming at us. He would tell us that it was our fault that our mother died. As his alcoholism got worse, verbal abuse turned into physical. Dean would take the hits each and every time, so that our dad would leave me alone.

When Dean turned 16, he emancipated from our father, Charles, and took custody of me in the process. We moved to an old man's ranch in Tennessee and lived there for free in exchange for help around the farm. During our time there, Dean and I went to school like normal kids. When Dean graduated high school, he went to an IT college and got his degree. Dean applied for jobs back home in Domino City and he got an amazing job offer at KaibaCorp! Finally, we were moving back to Domino City! Dean sang country songs in local bars in our area to afford our initial plane tickets for his interview. Then when Dean got the job, Mr. Kaiba gave him a signing bonus! Which is exactly how we could afford plane tickets the second time around, as well as our down payment on a house in Domino City.

If someone told me 3 years ago that Dean and I would be moving back to Domino City and that my brother would be returning to Domino City as America's King of Games, I would have laughed my ass off and asked what they were smoking and if they could share. Dean and I didn't have shit when we left Charles' house. After getting the shit kicked out of him for years, Dean took up mixed martial arts and began dueling. Not only that, but Dean studied hard in school in order to provide a better life for us. There were many mornings where I found him asleep at the table, face first in a textbook.

Remembering all that Dean has done for us made me grateful to have such a dedicated, protective older brother. "Rae? You there?" Dean snapped his fingers in front of my face and I zoned out of my thoughts. "Hmm? Yeah?" I dazed and looked around me. The flight had already started and people were giving the flight attendant their drink orders. "Is this what you want? Honestly?" Dean asked, looking deep into my sapphire eyes. I gripped Dean tight in a hug and after a few moments, he returned the hug. "Yes, I do. Thank you for everything that you've done for us. Thank you for getting us away from Charles..." I murmured into Dean's broad chest. His grip around me tightened and he took a deep breath of what I believe was relief. I decided to change the subject to something much happier. "Another bright side is we get to see Joey again!" I exclaimed, quickly remembering our goofy pal.

Dean was also excited to reunite with his childhood best friend Joey Wheeler. Through all our difficult times, Joey would always answer when my brother or I needed to talk. I used to call Joey all the time when Charles would start in on Dean when he was drunk. Then he would vent to me about how his sister Serenity was taken away by his mom. Even in separate countries Joey remained close to us and I couldn't have been more grateful for his friendship.

The flight was almost over and I shifted in my seat anxiously. Oh boy was Joey going to be happy when we see him at the airport. Just wait till he finds out about Dean's new amazing career at KaibaCorp! He'll be so happy!

Or maybe not...
