She grumbled, this means he wanted to forget about what happened that night. But maybe he had underestimated Suman, he didn't know she would always find an opportunity or two to talk about that incident. If he was to reject her blatantly then it should be on her face. Suman was not fragile that she wouldn't be able to handle rejection.

She walked through the glass door, where Shravan was sitting with the legal team. Pushkar was there as well. When Suman reached the reception earlier, there was a message waiting for her: Meeting room, 11 am sharp.  She looked at her watch, it was 10.55 and somehow she had managed to reach the office on time.

Shravan didn't pay any attention when Suman pulled a chair and sat beside him. She placed the file which had the print papers of Mr Raheja's revised contract before Shravan.

Shravan looked at the file and then looked at her, he seemed impressed that he didn't have to ask Suman to go and print it. She had been working with him for the last eight months, if he thought he could make her look like a novice in front of these people then he was wrong. He taught her enough to handle these tasks.

Shravan and Pushkar discussed the contract with the legal team and once again Suman was mesmerized by Shravan's charm. Some people are simply cut out for certain works, Shravan was for being a boss. She could vouch that the legal team was sweating when they left the room.

"If you are done smiling, then fetch me a cup of coffee." Shravan barked. Suman jumped on her feet, embarrassed she looked at Pushkar who was frowning at Shravan and her boss was glaring at the file as if it had done some serious offences.

"Right, Sir." Suman instantly stood up and walked out of the room, though feeling his stare all the way to the door.

This attitude of Shravan continued for the next three days. Suman would come to the office, he would bark orders, and then he would avoid her. She had noticed Pushkar looking at her with sympathy, but maybe he didn't even dare to go against his brother and come talk to her.

The whole office was aware of her situation. They all noticed how their boss treated her, but there was something so possessive about Shravan's behaviour that they didn't bother to get to know Suman.

Suman was lonely. She ate lunch alone, she worked like a machine, and then she went home. She knew why Shravan was doing this. He wanted her to quit. But what he didn't know about Suman was she was as adamant as he was.

On the fifteenth day, Suman was working on her computer, filing the records for the expenditures of the month. She would have to send it to Shravan and upon getting signed by him she would again have to send it to the HR department.

"Hello, beautiful, is Malhotra free now?" Suman blinked and looked up. There was a man— well a very handsome man was standing just in front of her desk.

"He is busy with some paperwork," Suman smiled, "but, I can check if he is okay with any visitors."

"Well, I was expecting a thank you," He prodded, "or you actually ignored the compliment?"

Suman sighed, she was already running on low patience thanks to her boss, "I heard, but I can't thank you when you said something I already know. So why don't you stand straight and let me ask my boss about you."

The man looked impressed, he gestured with a wave of his hand, "Please."

"Your name please." Suman held the receiver to her ear.

"Aditya Ahuja."

"Sir, Mr Aditya Ahuja is here to meet you. Should I send him in?" She listened, "Well, no he doesn't have an appointment. Okay, sir." Suman looked at him, "You may go inside."
