Ashley's POV
It's the new school year and I've been talking to Luke a lot since we met and he's picking me up today.
I walk downstairs and eat breakfast when the doorbell rings
"Good morning" he says smiling
" good morning" I say smiling
"Hi Luke , would you like some breakfast?" My mom asks
"No thank you ma'am" he says
"If I don't finish my breakfast will you be mad" I ask joking
"Yes" he says joking
I eat and we head to school
"Are you nervous" Luke asks looking over at me
"Yes I am very nervous " I say with tears in my eyes
"Hey hey don't cry darling" he says pulling over
"I'm sorry I can't help it" I say
He gets out and walks to my side and opens my door and makes silly faces at me until I laugh and he hugs me and wipes my tears
"I'm gunna be right by your side all day" he says holding my hand
"Promises" I ask
"I promise" he says smiling
"Besides we have everything together it's senior year" he says smiling
I laugh a little
"Your a goofball" I say
He kisses my cheek
"I got you smiling though" he says
He gets back in and we get to school
Everyone looks at me but is all over Luke and talking to him
Luke shows me around school and walks to class with me
"Thank you for sticking by my side " I say on the way to lunch
"I keep my promises" he says
We go to lunch and we sit across from each other with no one around
"Why isn't anyone around you now" I ask
"I have friends but not a group like everyone else, you're the only one so that makes you my best friend" he says smiling
I smile
At the end of the day he takes me home and I say I'll see you tomorrow
