"Earth is dying." Gaia commented to Uranus, as she gazed loving at their baby.
"I know, it's all because of mankind, we have tried our best to warn them, but they chose to do nothing. There is nothing else we can do, we can not keep using out powers like this, getting rid of this pollution tirelessly, mankind has to see how their actions have affected Earth. When our daughter, Arianna, grows up, she will make Earth a better place with her powers, dear." Uranus said.
"I know that, but we will have to leave her with a human family. That way, when she grows up, she will have an understanding of what mankind did to Earth."
"I have found a human family, who have trouble conceiving kids, Gaia. They are bound to welcome, our daughter."
"Then we must not delay, and place her right away with them. I will leave our child on their doorstep, with a note." Gaia replied.
Gaia, then wrote a note saying:
My Arianna,
Your father is the God Uranus, and your mother is the Goddess Gaia. As you grow up, you will experience a series of supernatural events, regarding fire, water, earth and air. This will be because as our child, you process the powers of fire, water, earth and air. We placed you with a human family so that you will know mankind's fatal impact upon this Earth, which it is your destiny to save. On your 16th birthday, meet us at what was once your town's garden. Yes, the air may be too polluted to breathe for humans, but you, my dear, are not a regular human, you are the beloved daughter of a god and goddess. Using your powers, you can simply wish for unpolluted air, and the air will obey your will, for you are a daughter of the Earth.
From your mother Gaia.
Once Gaia, had finished writing the note, put it inside an envelope, sealed it and wrote on the front of it 'To Arianna - to be given to her on her 16th birthday (29th September)'. She then wrapped Arianna in a blanket and put her in a basket, with the note beside her. Gaia teleported to her daughter's new family and placed her on their doorstep.
She loving touched her daughter's cheek saying, "Forgive me, my little Arianna for this, but when you are older, you will understand. Goodbye, my daughter for now, until we meet again."
Then Gaia rung their doorbell, stepped to the side and made herself as invisible as air. A woman in her 30's opened the door, greatly puzzled when she saw no one. Then she noticed a basket, on her doorstep, upon closer inspection, she gave a great cry.
"Kevin, come quickly."
Kevin comes running, "What is Elena?"
"I found a baby on our doorstep." She replied.
"Well, then it's like the gods listened to our prayers then, we finally have a child."
They then turned back into the house and closed the door. Gaia then seeing that her daughter was safe, teleported back to her home, the only island, now untouched by man, due to her and Uranus living there, keeping the pollution at bay and keeping the plants nice and green.
