Punch. Dodge. Punch. Kick. Dodge.
The routine was imprinted in my brain. Punch the bag, dodge the rebound, punch the dummy, kick the dummy in the head, dodge attack.
Of course, it was all so much easier on an inanimate object.
Three words were engraved in my mind.
I can't lose.
I won't lose.
I can't disappoint my family anymore.
I will win, no matter the consequences.
