I need to stop obsessing over this song.

Well, I've already heard "Cecily Smith (Bonus Track)", which was sung by Will Connolly, but I decided to listen to the original song and wHOA.

Here's both of them, side by side:

There's kind of a difference between these, in a way. The original is way more upbeat and exciting. It sounds like a young love-struck boy still lives inside the man singing, and the whole joy that exists in most of the song makes the ending feel more unexpected. The bonus track felt more like a emotional love song for remembrance, reflecting on all of the good memories the couple had in a sweet, calm way, and even though I didn't expect the ending in this version either, it seemed like it would be more likely in this one.

I really like them both, but if I had to pick between the two, I'd choose the original, even though I absolutely adore Will Connolly's voice.
