Jessica's Point Of View

I wake up with the super loud noise of my alarm clock beeping like crazy. I groan and, with too much effort, open an eye to check what time it is and if I am lukcy enough to have a couple of more minutes of sleep. Checked. And no. It is already 06:30 in the morning and school starts at 8AM.

– Oh God, help me. — I whisper, not having the strength to talk properly loud.

I slowly get up out of bed, turn the alarm off and look at myself in the mirror — which is placed before my bed. Now, I see a short girl with mascara all over her eyes and apple cheeks, a messy black hair and she is wearing a cute short Minnie Mouse pyjama. I pout, reckoning that I really cannot sleep with makeup on.

I sigh, trying to at least get mentally ready to start this year, as I tight my hair up into a bun, before heading to the bathroom that I have in my bedroom. I shut the door and strip myself, putting the clothes on the blue midium sized laundry basket. I step in the shower box, turn on the shower and wait a few seconds until the water gets warm enough. Otherwise, the tip of my every finger would go dark purple from cold. I may not be shaking from freezing, but my fingers give me a pretty reliable sign of my body's tempeture. They change colors easily though.

Anyway, once done with the showering thing, I wrap myself in a fluffy white towel and tip toe out of the bathroom, not wanting to dirt my feet nor wet the floor. Therefore, I put on my beige slippers. Having in consideration that I had to hold the towel with one hand, I used the other to open the two doors, one at a time, of my wooden wardrobe. I scan all dresses, skirts, trousers, shorts, tops, t-shirts to see what I can wear on my first day, but I do not seem to find something to go with jeans or shorts or skirts. So, maybe it will be dress.

I end up choosing the light blue one with no sleeves and it is a bit loose under the waist part.

I wear a leather jacket, some light pink flats, comb my hair and let it down my shoulers on its natural curls. I apply some more mascara, eyeliner and go brush my teeth before putting on some light red lipstick. I apply my favorite collogne; Gabriela Sabatini. To finish the outfit, some accessories here and there.

I grab my black leather back bag, my phone from under the pillow and walk downstairs just to see the house in a complete quietness. I frown, finding it oddly, and check the time on my phone. 7:30 o'clock. I close my eyes and let out a deep sigh.

– Seriously? Left me to take the bus?

Jessica grabbed a cereal bar from the copboard and left the house. Looking both way to see where the bus stop was, she could not find it anyway. Luckly an old woman was walking by, wearing a gym outfit.

– Hi, ma'am, good morning.

– Good morning, my dear.
