Two years later ✅✅✅

It was now in the afternoon and I was in my trap counting the money I had made so far when the door got burst open

My nigga sneak walked in

"Man we have a visitor"

"Who's he"

"Actually it's a she"

"Sneak you know damn well that we ain't got no female clients..so You know what to do"

"Sure boss"

Walking out he closed the door and I went back to counting money when I heard some girl scream through the hallway till my door got opened

"August we need to talk"

Raising my eyes to meet the person

"Yn the hell you doing here"I said stopping what i was doing and looked straight at her

"I want some money"

"Thought you didn't want to do this anymore "

"I'm not up for your lecture August...i want some money for bills and grocery my kid is dying in hunger don't make me sue you for some child support"

That's when I took my attention to the little girl in her arms
I was about to say something when the kid's stomach made a sound

Making my way over to her I took the kid and laid her in my arms

"When was the last time you gave my kid some food yn"

"Last night"

Not wanting to argue with her anymore I placed my daughter on the couch and took  some leftover pizza and an orange juice out the fridge
Then gave them to her switching the t.v. on to some cartoons channel

"Come on over here"

I said to her and I made my way back to where I was sitting before

She slowly made her way over to me

She was about to sit at the edge of the desk but I pulled her over to my lap

"Now tell me shawty what exactly  you want from me"

"Look if there was another way I could fix this I would've but i dont have a choice okay.i think i was wrong to run away with her two years ago..if i dont pay rent by this evening there's a chance imma be evicted...Marsha's day care fee is also due and I'm out of options "

she sat in my lap facing me and her attention fixed on the buttons on my shirt

"And what makes you think imma help you" I said stroking my chin hair

"I don't care about me I just want what's best for my daughter...if you think I want this money for myself you can take Marsha and raise her I could also sign my rights over to you...I just want what's best for her"

"No that would be so inconsiderate of me..imma give you some but I want to be part of her life,okay"

"That's okay with me " she said

Getting up I placed her back on the desk went over to the little locker I had in my office and pulled out an empty duffle back

Taking half of the money that was on the desk and placed it in the bag then gave it to her

"The hell am I suppose to do with this kind of money"

"Go spend it with my kid do whatever y'all want"

"Where am I going to place it you know I can't even take it to the bank"

"Dont act all naive yn you've been in this before you're a thug and you know what to do"

"Thank you so much August,I owe you big time..its getting dark i should go pay the rent"

She said hugging me and turned to leave but i got hold of her wrist

"Naw ma show me some love"

With that she threw the bag on the floor and kissed me

Pulling back I pecked her swollen lips a couple of times and let her go

"Marsha lets go baby" she said to my kid

"Marsha come give daddy a hug"

Looking over at yn for approval which she just nodded she ran over to me and gave me a tight hug

"Love you baby"

I whispered in her little ear and let go of her
