A frail hand dotted with liver spots grasped the tattered red curtains and pulled the fabric to one side, revealing a pair of red fiery eyes twitching from side to side. The piercing eyes stared intensely at the blue house across the street and at the same time, demonic whispers of incantations filled the air. The pupils dilated into two pools of black pits and the eyes blinked once, twice, and on the third blink, an ominous shadow swallowed the house. Then the shadow disappeared, and in its place, a silver goblet stood on the doorstep of the house. A pair of withered lips parted and a bloodcurdling cachinnation reverberated across the street.
