The Lost Queen (Red Queen Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

I have been here for one week.
Everyone keeps talking about the Lost Queen,they want to find her first before Maven does.
Until now Silvers have found two Golds.
I dont know them but I am worried about them.
What if Maven kills them?
Ada said that he wouldnt do this.
He aims somewhere else,just like he did with Mare and Newbloods.
Im afraid that someday I will have to battle with every single one of them and that includes Newbloods.
I dont want to but they will find out who I am sooner or later.
I try my best to keep a low profile here but its nearly impossible.
When they are training,they want me to train wih them.
At first i was training with the new ones.
Unfortunately I was too much for them.
Now im training with the most dangerous ones here.
I try not to hurt them.
Hearing their screams is somethimg horrible.
Cameron falls on her knees as I bend her blood.

She curses under her breath trying to take away my ability.
Its the first time I am training with her.
Im surprised,she doesn't influence me.
Everyone around us stays silent.
A few seconds later I hear her scream. I stop immediately and I sigh as I rub a little my hands.
This was too easy.

Mare's Pov

The new girl is dangerous and very useful at the same time.
I thought that Cameron's power was very powerful but compared to the new girl is nothing.
That girl is weird.
Very weird.
When she came here she was acting very differently than the others.
She always walks away as soon as someone approaches her.
She doesn't look any of us right in the eyes.
This only shows us how suspicious she is.
She is around my age, how can she be that advanced?
It seems like she has been training he her whole life.
All the Newbloods here were never trained because they were scared of their powers.
Farley believes that we should be extremely careful with her.
Cal on the other hand believes that we should focus on finding more Newbloods and the Lost Queen.

End of Mare's Pov

"You nearly killed me!"
Cameron shouts at me and I walk closer to her helping her up.
"Im sorry, I wanted to stop but they wouldn't let me"
I say calmly and she stares at me,
"It looks like you have mastered your ability."
She says suspiciously and I look at her, "I got attacked by silvers many times,should I have let them kill my family?"
She remains silent and she looks down,
"No"
I nod as I look around us, everyone is still staring at me.
Some with fear and some with amazement.
Farley eyes me up and down trying to study my characteristics.
I turn around walking away as I feel a hand grabbing my arm,
"Where did you learn blocking like this?"

I sigh as Kilorn holds my arm and I keep staring down,
"Silvers would attack me and my family a lot when I was little. I had to protect them."
I say in a soft voice,he lowers his gaze while letting go of my arm.
"I'm not feeling well so you will have to excuse me."
I say while walking away.
What I said wasn't a lie,thats how I practiced most of the time.
I would never harm my family or my friends so I used to practice my powers on the Silvers that would threaten us.
I slowly sit on the window while staring at the view, at least I'm safe here.
For now.

Cal's Pov

"Did you learn anything about her?"
I ask Kilorn and he stares at me
"Silvers would keep attacking her family for years.Thats how she practiced her powers."
I cross my arms a little as I stare at the ground,
"And you blame me for this?"
"I blame your brother's kingdom."
He raises his voice and I feel my body burning again.
I have to control my fire.
"Why do you suddenly care about this Newblood?"
He stares at me and he chuckles,
"This is not your business."
"Yes it is my business.Mare doesn't have a good feeling about her and now I don't have a good feeling either."
"Just because she is more powerful than you and Mare doesn't mean she is bad.You made her attack Cameron, remember?"
I lower my gaze once more,he is right.
"We will keep an eye on her."
I say while walking away.

Maven's Pov

"Report."
I say to the captain and he looks at me in a apologetic way.
"We haven't found anything about the Lost Queen,your Highness."
I sigh while staring at him and then at the soldiers,
"Do you understand how much trouble she can cause?"
"Your majesty, I am sure that she is hiding right now.Golds have disappeared and there are only a few left.We keep finding them and we bring them to you."
I stare at the captain and I stand up from my throne.
"I want her here and alive.Have you got any idea about how much power she has?acording to a legend,Golds kept getting stronger and stronger as the generations passed."
The captain looks at the soldiers,
"Find her."
He demands as the soldiers walk out.
"Why are you so afraid?"
He asks me and I look at him,
"I cant let a girl take away my throne and reunite the most powerful kingdom that has ever existed."
I say in a cold tone and he looks down,
"You are right,your Majesty."
Everyone thinks that she is not a big deal.
They are wrong.
As soon as I learned about her existence,i started searching the old books.
I found out how powerful and glorious the Golds where.
I have a feeling that Newbloods would be able to find her.
What if they have already found her and they are hiding her?
I cant let them take her away.
Not her.

End of Maven's Pov

I stare at the window seeing everyone laughing and joking around.
I don't see them smile often,they are really focused on their training.
They fight a lot, Cameron blames a lot Mare for what has happened to them.
But now everyone focuses on the Golds.
I hear them talking about my nation,exchanging information and stories that are written in books.
I bet they didnt know anything about us before.
We were forgotten but we lived kida peacefully.
Now we have to fight everyone.
I wish I had someone to trust.
But I dont trust anyone here.
I slowly hug my knees while staring at the view once more.
I miss being happy.
