Middle School Bathrooms

I never liked using school bathrooms.

They were always used for the delinquents who would cut class.

And the bathroom always smelled really bad.

But today was Taco Tuesday and I had extra beans during lunch.

My stomach was doing flips 6th period during my math class.

" Mr. Thompson can I please go to the bathroom?" I asked trying to get out of the classroom as quickly as possible.

" Sure Yasmin but make sure you're back in 10 minutes or you will have detention." He said.

But I really didn't care nor was I listening quiet frankly. I ran out of the classroom and down the long hallway to the girl's bathroom.

Slamming open the door and running into the first empty stall.

And just my luck as I sat down and unloaded there was no toilet paper.

This can't be happening I thought.

Why god?

Why me?

I quickly got out my phone and texted my best friend Alex.

" Hey, can you please come to the bathroom and get me some tissue. Please it's an emergency  "

"Right Now"

" Yes please"

"Fine I'm on my way"

10 minutes later

" Yasmin." He called.

" I'm in here. Quick get me the tissue." I said.

He went into the other stall and got me the tissue and slid it under the stall door.

" See I told you not to get the extra bean dip but you don't listen." He said.

I had finally finished and came out of the bathroom.

" Thanks, I really owe you one bestie," I said.

" Damn right you do." He said.

As we walked out of the bathroom we came face to face with the Principal.

Mrs. Valdez.

" Young man, what were you doing coming out of the female's restroom?" She asked.

Alex didn't answer.

" You two in my office NOW." She yelled.

As we slowly followed behind her all I could think of was.

How the hell am I going to explain this to my parents?
