My name is Chloe. Chloe Morris. I spent my whole life training for the game. The game that could kill me if I failed. I'm talking about, The Darkest Games. Tomorrow, I get to see my twin sister for the first time in 16 years before we fight to the death.

"Easy there tiger. You don't want to get hurt now," says Cam as he pulls me away from the punching bag. Cameron White. He's the smartest person here on the good side. Dark hair, purple eyes, and the dreamiest voice you can think of. You see, in my world, the city is split in half. One side good and the other bad. Everyone on the good side has purple eyes while the people on the bad side have green or red eyes. You can only get red eyes if you have done something so bad that it pleases the devil.

"Right. So where are Winter and Zander?" I ask while taking a drink.

"Zander's  in the game room and Winter's outside. You know, enjoying winter."

Zander and Winter are my other two friends that are joining Cam and I in the Games.

"So I heard Zander died his hair again," I say as Cam and I make our way to the games room.

"Yah. This time he looks like he has a massive blueberry on his head," laughs Cam opening the door for me.

"Wow. Wasn't his hair green before?" I ask as I tuck my jet black hair behind my ear.

"It was but I guess he didn't want to be called Grape Boy so he changed it," answered Cam.

"What are you two love birds laughing about?" asks Zander as Cam and I enter the games room laughing.

"Nothing much," I say.

"I told her that you look like you have a blueberry on your head," laughs Cam.

"Harsh dude," says Zander placing his hand over his heart. "Anyways, who wants to party?!"

"No one because we're going to find Winter," I say turning off Zander's music.

"Why?" asks Zander turning his music back on.

"Because we see out twins tomorrow and the day after that are the Games so if we die, that we will never see each other," I answer turning his music off again.

"Well I see that your still pushy," grumbles Zander.

"Too true man. Too true," says Cam agreeing with Zander.

"I'm just going to ignore that," I say grabbing my coat and walking outside.

"Come on Chlo. Have some competitive sprite in you," laughs Zander elbowing me in the ribs.

"Fine then. Last one outside has to clean out Moris's cage!" I yell before sprinting out of the room.

"You just had to say that," says Can shaking his head.

"I win!" I yell as I burst through headquarters's front door.

"You win what?" asks Winter walking up to me.

"The boys and I raced to see who could get out here first," I quickly answer before turning around to see Zander fall face first into the snow and Cam running out.

"You boys really think that you can beet Chloe in a race?" asks Winter pulling Zander up.

"No," says Cam and Zander at the same time.

"Don't feel bad boys. I am the fastest person here," I answer.

"Well brains are more important," argues Cam.

"So if your twin brother pulls out a gun, you're going to give him brain teasers?" I ask giving him a grin.

"She has a point there dude," says Zander.

"So whats up?" asks Winter putting her waist length, silver hair into a ponytail.

"We're going to have a sleep over in Cam's room tonight," I say.

"Ok then. Can I bring the snow?" asks Winter as she bends down and picks up a handful of snow.

"By the time we get inside, the snow would have melted," says Cam as he raises an eyebrow.

"I have snow power's dummy," says Winter forming a snowball with her bare hands and then throwing it at Cam.

"Hey!" yells Cam as he brushes away the snow on his face. "Get her Chloe!"

"On it!" I yell as I grab Winter and super speed her next to a pine tree.

"I don't see how this is revenge," says Winter.

"Just wait!" yells Cam who is standing with Zander about 50 meters away from us. I then super speed and hit the pine tree.

"CHLOE!" yells Winter as a huge pile of snow falls from the tree and berrying her completely.

"Ha ha. Having a friend with super speed come in handy," laughs Cam as he and Zander make there way over.

"So I guess we have a snowball fight," says Zander while using his fire powers to melt the snow that is covering Winter.

"Well my blue headed friend. You guessed right because I declare a snowball fight," I say calmly before super speeding Cam and I over to a gazebo which is on the other side of the yard. If you haven't figured it out yet, everyone has powers too. Mine is super speed, Cam's powers are all based around the mind, Zander has fire powers, and Winter has well, winter powers. Our twins have powers that can stop ours.

"Chloe!" yells Cam snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry," I reply.

"Incoming!" yells Cam  as hundreds of snowballs come flying through the air.

"Run!" I yell as I super speed away.

Later that night, everyone is hanging in Cam and Zander's bedroom.

"Thanks for letting me get hit by hundreds of snowballs," grumbles Cam.

"Sorry. But on the bright side, Paris is lovely this time of year," I reply.

"You went to Paris?!" yells Winter.

"More like ran through it," I answer.

"Is everyone excited for tomorrow?" asks Zander changing the subject.

"I guess," says Cam.

"What do you think they will look like?" I ask.

"Probably like us," reply's Winter.

"Well that's tomorrow. For now, it's dance off time!" yells Zander turning on the music and dancing. Cam, Winter, and I look at each other before shrugging and joining Zander.
