It was a cloudy morning in Manhattan, and it looked like it was about to rain. As Monica Geller laid in her bed next to her fiancé, Chandler Bing, she thought about how the weather reflected her mood. She was off of work today, but that was the only good thing she could think of so far. She would be alone all day, as Chandler had to work. When he came home from work, she knew he'd be in a bad mood and complaining like he always did.

She got up out of bed and walked into the kitchen to make herself a pot of coffee. Chandler would be getting out of bed soon for work, so she decided to make him pancakes to eat before he left. She was almost done when he emerged from the room. He was dressed in his coat and tie, with matching slacks for work. He walked into the bathroom to brush his teeth and hair without as much as a "Good morning." When he came out of the bathroom, he grabbed his briefcase off of the coffee table and walked over to her, taking a couple of pancakes from the plate and then began to walk towards the door. "I'll see you later, babe. I gotta get going. Bye!"

She told him goodbye and that she loved him, but he was too far out the door to hear her. She rolled her eyes and walked to close the door that he had left open. She walked back to the stove and turned it off. She wasn't hungry, so she just threw away the leftovers. She cleaned the dishes and put them away, then sighed. She climbed out to the terrace and just stood and watched the city.

She thought about all the people walking and driving everywhere. Everyone was so busy. They all seemed so important, like they all knew what they were doing with their lives. She had no clue. She worked and came home to a grumpy fiancé everyday, and that was her life. Sure, she had her friends, but that was the only exciting thing. She should care more about her fiancé than her friends, right?

As Monica stood on the terrace, she began to think about how different her life would be if she hadn't ever become romantically involved with Chandler. If she had never gotten drunk and had sex with him that very first time. She then began to think about what would have happened if she had said yes to Richard instead of Chandler. Would she be happier with how her life was going? No. She couldn't think about Richard. That part of her life was over. She couldn't help but wonder, though. How would things be different? As she began to realize how unhappy she was with her current situation, she started to think about how maybe she shouldn't have said yes to Chandler. Not that she should've said yes to Richard. But she knew for a fact she wasn't ready to marry Chandler. Maybe she had said yes to him purely because she didn't think she could say yes to Richard. She'd never know if she married Chandler. Once she married him, it would all be over. And suddenly, she didn't like the sound of that.

-----------------------------------------------------Okayyy. First of all, this is the worst chapter in the history of the world. So I'm so sorry about that. Also, I'm sorry for my random spacing😂 I just put one whenever I feel like it, there's no rhyme or reason😂 I just feel like there should be paragraphs so. There they are😂.

Second of all, I'm sorry for deleting my last story. It was probably a lot better than this one lol. I promise I'll try to make it better!!! I just felt where I'd been away for so long that I just kind of lost connection with that story I guess. If this story sucks I might go back to that one. I didn't delete it, I just unpublished it.

Anywho, thank you all so much for your continued support of me and my stories❣️ I love you all so much!!
Don't forget to VOTE and/or COMMENT for me :) Tbh, I like comments better because I loooveee feedback!! I would love constructive criticism or just tell me what you liked about it! Just please don't be mean, remember I'm still pretty new at this. Thank you!!😊
