December 2nd 2011, Unknown Hospital

Rose runs across the shinning tile, pulling her daughter with her, in a rush to see her husband, who has lost so much blood from a vamp attack a few days back.

"Amy?" She hadn't heard that name in years since she had changed it, leaving her old life behind her, it made her stop in her tracks, slowly looking behind her. There stood Sam Winchester, who was like a brother to her when she was a drunk and heartbroken teen. His hair was long grown and signs of major stress showed throughout him.

"Hello Sam." She replied with her voice cracking, Sam rushing towards Rose and her young child, embracing her in an awkward hug. The hunter rested his hands on her sore shoulders, looking at her in awe. "It's Rose now." Sam looked down at the child she held with her left hand, small wedding band shinning.

"Who's this?"

"This is my daughter Samantha." Rose croaked as he bent down to come face to face with her.

"Really?" Samantha slowly moved behind her mothers leg, away from the stranger.

"She's still in shook from what happened to my husband." Sam looked up in question. "Vamp attack." He nodded his head as he slowly got up. "Enough about me. What are you doing here Sammy?" Rose saw the pain in his eyes as he slowly looked over to a room, she moved closer to it to see a horrid sight. Bobby Singer, the man that raised her like his very own, lied in a hospital bed, head majorly bandaged and breathing tube shoved his mouth.

He got shot.

Tears pricked her eyes, but she quickly blinked them away, as she cried way to much today. Bobby started to pull the tube out, alerting his nurses as they try to put it back, the old drunk refused, they replaced the tube with a mask. He accepted the new change as they make sure everything else was in check. One of them rushed to Sam and updated him about Bobby's condition. He moved towards Bobby's room and leaned against the wall, closing his eyes, letting a huge breath of stress out.

Just then, Sam's older brother Dean, who broke Rose's heart but his memory erased of anything to do with her, walked right up to him, steaming cup of Joe in his hand.

"What did that guy want?" Sam asked his brother with hints of concern.

"Uh, nothing. Just some insurance mook. Dick Roman was out there."

"What? What happened?"

"Nothing...For now. It was just a friggin' staring contest. That was about it. What's the update?"

They continued to talk as if she wasn't there anymore, she started to walk to her husbands room, hoping he was getting better and he will leave here soon.

"Rose! Samantha? Wait, let me introduce you to Dean." She turned around and smiled at the man. The man who can see them.

"Are you hallucinating again Sammy?"

"No they're right there, can't you see them?"

"No Sammy I can't."

Rose started to chuckle slightly, her daughters eyes sparkling, as Sam turned to them.

"Sam Winchester, the one who can see ghosts when others can't." Rose looked down at her daughter. "I love you Samantha Melody Deana McWinn, more than cheap hotels and diner burgers."

"I love you mommy, more than singing along to classic rock, driving down the highway in a good ole Impala."

"Now let's go piss off some angels upstairs sweetheart." The mother and daughter started to glow as they vanished into thin air right in front of the hunter, as his brother tried to snap him out of his trance.

The time soon comes for parting,

And our time is at an end,

The rest of your life is starting,

And we have no time at all to spend.

You knew one day you'd have to go,

But thought you'd have more time.

We can't reverse time's one-way flow,

But at least you'll have this rhyme.

You had your shining moments,

Upon this life's darkened stage,

And in my book of wonderments,

You'll never be just another page.

Like the exploding of a star,

You've changed me in and out,

Your light will travel with me far,

Past when all other lights go out.

The poem rang throughout the hospital in Rose's sweet voice, as everyone searched for the source, but Sam stayed calm, knowing that was his goodbye from his sister, the one not ending with blood.

---------------------------------------

That was the end guys! All credits for the poem are to Megan R. Bokowski. I didn't know when Bobby was in the hospital Supernatural time so I put when the episode was aired that this was based off of. And Samantha's middle name Melody is referring to Bobby's surname, Singer. So yeah, good bye.
