So yesterday at around like, maybe 2 or 3 in the afternoon, I stubbed my toe at the pool, and maybe an hour later I get out of the pool to find my toe bleeding. MY TOE WAS BLEEDING IN THE POOL FOR LIKE, AN HOUR. Once I get back home, my mom puts antibiotics and a bandaid on my toe and we leave it like that.

Somewhere around 2:55 in the morning, (it is now around 3:30 am) my toe suddenly wakes me up from all the pain that it was giving me. I wake up from my half asleep state (because for some reason I was dreaming about something LGBTQ+ related) and I start crying from the pain I was enduring. I go to the bathroom to inspect my toe, and from the outside of the bandaid it looked like there was a bruise and a lot of dried up blood. I got scared and retreated back to my room, the pain still making me cry.

Around 3:20, I finally get back up and go to the bathroom. I take the bandaid off and see nothing but a bruise in my toenail and a tiny bit of dried up blood. I am still crying, and I cover the end of a rag in hot water. I place in on my toe, but it wasn't very effective because I waited too long for myself to put it on my toe. Then I wash it in the hot water again, this time applying it to my toe immediately. Boy did that burn. At this point, my jaw is quivering. So I had the brilliant idea of putting a new bandaid on my beautiful wound.

Right now it is 3:40 and it already seems to be doing a better job than I originally hoped. I am not crying anymore and some of the pain has subsided, and it feels like when I walked home from the pool today. So, nothing special. Just a bit of a hurting toe and dried up tears.

So how are you feeling at 3:45 in the morning?

Probably better than me right about now.
