We were finally getting to hang out again! My mom has been so busy with work lately we've barely had time to talk. Thankfully she was able to get the weekend of. Plus she agreed to take a day and hang out at the mall. She's one of those really understanding people that you can talk to like they were your best friend. We actually enjoy a lot of the same things like bands and fandom so that makes our relationship stronger. I leaned against the window and sighed "So where do you want to go first?" She replied with with a shrug "Maybe Barnes and Noble?" "You just want to go for the coffee don't you?" I jokingly asked. "Ah you caught me there." We both laughed. I saw here turn the radio volume up when I heard the familiar intro to "Nananananana" by MCR which we proclaimed as our song. We were both singing at the top of our lungs when we swerved off the road. I heard the windshield shatter when the car hit the lamp post. Then my vision went black. When I regained consciousness I was in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm. I saw my dad but my mom wasn't there. There was also a few doctors and a psychologist. The docters made sure everything was running properly and left the room. My dad and the psychologist were left there. The psychologist came to me and asked the regular questions. "How did I feel", "What happened", "Was I confused or stressed", the basics. But then she said something that I would never get over. "We are all really sorry, but when your mom swerved to avoid a dog, she ended up hitting her head and damaging it to the point where we couldn't save her...I'm sorry but your mother has passed." My dad came over and hugged me while we cried into eachother. I can never forget this day. Even if I tried, it will forever haunt me.
