Draco sat for hours in his quiddich uniform holding his brothers hand.
"Rex buddy come on wake up" Draco said as his father walked in.
"Where is my son" he yelled.
"Mr. Malfoy please calm down" madam pomfeny said slowly as she lead him over to Rex and Draco.
"Calm down? Are you kidding me! My son is a coma!" Lucius yelled.
"Dad please" Draco said.
"I want him sent to St. Mungos now!" Lucius demanded.
"Sir we can't do that at least not until morning"Pomfrey said.
"Where is that blasted headmaster!" Lucius yelled.
"Here Mr. Malfoy" Dumbledore said.
"I want Rex at St. Mungos" Lucius said.
Draco stopped listening to the adults and looked back at his brother.
"Tomorrow first thing in the morning Malfoy he will be sent and Draco will have time off from school until Rex is better." Dumbledore said.
The adults went off to talk to each other and Draco stayed with Rex.
Rex started to move a bit but it was clear he was in pain and Pomfrey couldn't give him anything until he woke up.
"It's okay Rex I'm here" Draco whispered to his brother.
"Draco?" Rex said slowly as he opened his eyes.
"Yeah" Draco said with a smile.
"What happened?" Rex asked.
"Bludger hit you but don't worry Pomfrey she will fix you and you won't be in pain anymore" Draco said squeezing his brothers hand.
Rex nodded and shut his eyes again trying to ignore the pain he felt.
Draco got up and went to get Pomfrey.
"Draco what do you want" Lucius snapped.
"He's awake father but he's in a lot of pain" Draco said.
The adults and Draco headed back to Rex.
"How are you son?" Lucius asked.
"It hurts" Rex whispered as Lucius moved Rex's hair aside.
"Drink this" Pomfrey said giving Rex a cup of liquid.
Rex obeyed and drank it.
"That's gross!" Rex declared.
"Of course it is" she said walking away.
"Draco how about you go get out of that outfit your brother is going to be fine" Dumbledor said.
Draco nodded and walked away.
"November 5th you know what that is?" Rex asked his dad.
"Of course it's your birthday" Lucius said.
"You remember?" Rex asked.
"Of course and I didn't forget Draco's I was in a hurry to get to you I didn't want you to be alone after what happened" Lucius said looking at his son laying in the bed.
"I wish you would have been here to see me play I was good" Rex laughed.
"I knew you would be Draco wrote many times about how good you were" Lucius said with a smile.
Lucius eventually went home and Draco stayed with Rex until he was released a few hours after he woke up.
"It's my birthday today" Rex said looking at his brother.
"It is?" Draco said as the boys sat down for lunch.
"Yes" Rex said.
"Happy birthday" Draco said with a smile.
"Rex your okay!" Crabbe said as he sat down.
"Yeah no thanks to you!" Draco snapped.
"Draco it's okay" Rex said slowly.
Draco rolled his eyes and ate his food.

"What else does he need to do for him to prove they are brothers? Lucius Malfoy was here almost all night and Draco was gone for the morning classes in the hospital wing with Rex" Harry said.
"What do you want us to say Harry?" Ron asked.
"Agree with me" he said.
"Fine it's very possible they are brothers" Ron said as he ate his food.
"Why does it matter?" Hermione asked.
"Because Draco's family isn't as perfect as he makes it sound" Harry said.
"Okay good point" Hermione said as they both turned to eat there own food.
