The couple kept smiling down at their newborn baby, a tear slid down the father's eyes, he was happy and he knew his little baby will make him proud someday, he glanced down and saw his baby grabbing his index finger tightly, he kissed her forehead and told her that he'll never let go and that he'll always be with her .
Four years later, Sarah was crying uncontrollably in front of her mommy's grave, she felt a hand on her shoulder and glanced up to see her father kneeling beside her with a sad expression, she turned fully and hugged him for dear life, he hugged her back just as strong and whispered to her that he'll never let go he told her that he'll always be by her side.
A year later ,Sara was riding her bike smiling and laughing while her father was running beside her, his hand grasping the bike's seat tightly as he pushed her, the wind was blowing on their face and the sidewalk was flying beneath them, Suddenly Sara felt a wave of fear, because she wasn't ready to ride the bike on her own, it seemed her daddy noticed because he gave her a reassuring smile and told her that he won't ever let go, Sara felt relieved and pushed her fear aside.
Many years later Sara was climbing the mountains with her father, they were holding hands tightly, every now and then Sara would glance at her father with a look of fear, her daddy squeezed her hand and told her to not be afraid because he'll never let go, Sara smiled believing his every word and kept climbing.
A year later, Sara got a phone call from a nurse telling her to hurry to the hospital, she threw the phone not letting the person on the other line finish his sentence, she drove fast until she stopped in front of a big white building, she got out from the car and hurried to the doors, she ran and ran in the halls until she reached her father's room, she entered the room slowly as the tears were already falling just like the rain outside, she glanced at his pale and weak figure then she crawled up beside him and hugged him tightly he hugged her back but not as strong, then he kissed her forehead, Sara glanced up at her father hopefully, but he looked down at her Apologetically and the words that left his mouth kept haunting Sara the rest of her life, as he finished with a tear sliding down his face, a sob left Sara's mouth then she felt her daddy's arms loosening around her, she kept yelling "No" as she snuggled closer to her father, she heard noises and roars but she didn't care, she only wanted to stay with her daddy, the nurses tried to untangle her from her father's lifeless body, she stretched her arms out trying to grasp her father one last time but to no avail.
The sky was crying roughly, and the wind was roaring wildly, the trees kept swaying to the noises, but no force could match the pain in Sara's heart, she watched with watery eyes as her father was being put into the black hollow hole, she didn't feel the eyes of pity nor the pats on her shoulder she didn't feel anything because she was numb, the only think she cared about was six feet under; lifeless. then she let out a sob when she remembred her father's last word; " i should let go now my little girl, i think you're ready to do it on your own, it'll be a little bit scary, but i should let go"
