CHAPTER 5- THE NEWS
Louis POV
I took Ari to hospital as fast as possible. The doctor told me to wait so they can take different tests on her.
Caitlin called me 5 minutes later.
I told her we're in hospital and she said she's gonna get here as fast as possible.
10 minutes later, she still wasn't here so I started worrying. As soon as I was about to call her, she ran through the hospital doors and into my arms.
"Shh. It's alright" and it was then I realised she was crying and her eyes were bloodshot.
"I-is she alright?" She sobbed into my chest.
"I hope so" I sighed and sat down with her on my lap. She was full on crying now.
I managed to calm Caitlin down and I saw a doctor come out. Cait looked around and saw him so she cleaned her make up and stood up.
"Mr Tomlinson?" he asked and I nodded my head.
"She's fine and I think she has some news to tell you. Very exciting at that" he said and I couldn't hide my excitement.
Me and Caitlin ran to her room and she was smiling.
She saw me and a smile crept up her cheeks.
"Hey" I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Hey"
"Mum!" Caitlin exclaimed and ran towards Ari. She hugged her.
"Hey sweetie. How was school?"
"I-it was alright.."
I knew something was wrong but I didn't want to push it so I changed the subject.
"Ari? The doctor said you have some news to tell us" I said and sat down next to her bed.
"Yeah... umm. I-I'm p-pregnant"
"That's great Ari!" I exclaimed.
She shook her head... just like 15 years ago.. what is the excuse now?
"You have your tour soon!"
I sighed. She was right. I had my tour soon. How was I supposed to see my children?
"Ari" I said sternly. "I will always find a way to see you and our children. Always! No matter the distance. I don't care about the management and what they will say. Yes, they wanted to take me away from you and Caitlin when they found out you were pregnant but I didn't care. Because I only cared about you. All those sleepless nights I spent on the Take Me Home Tour, all those days I spent thinking of a way to see you.. I spent that whole tour thinking about you, Caitlin and Ryan. Don't you realise that I would walk through the desserts, I would walk down the isle, I would swim all the oceans just to see you smile?" I had tears in my eyes and the number of minutes it took for them to gather in my eyes was unbelievable. Only 1 whole minute.
The tears gathered up in Ari's and Caitlin's eyes and they were both fighting to hold them back for as long as they could.
As if on cue, I saw some people running towards our door.
I saw Harry, Kyla with Emily and Darcy, Liam, Zayn, Alexis, Niall and Sophie.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
They all pointed to Caitlin. "She texted us" said Harry and I looked at Caitlin.
She smiled and I smiled back.
I took Harry, Zayn, Niall and Liam outside.
"Nialler?"
"Mmm hmm?"
"Do you have your guitar?" and he nodded and took it from the corner.
"Ok.. so basically, I wanted to sing to Ari Truly Madly Deeply. We have some occasion to celebrate as well..."
"What is it?" Liam asked.
"She's pregnant" and all the boys engulfed me in a hug.
We went inside and Niall took his guitar.
He started playing it and he was looking at Sophie the whole time. So was Zayn at Alexis, Harry at Kyla and me at Ari.
Liam started singing.
Am I asleep, am I awake, or somewhere in between?
I can't believe that you are here and lying next to me
Or did I dream that we were perfectly entwined?
Like branches on a tree, or twigs caught on a vine?
Niall sang after.
Like all those days and weeks and months I tried to steal a kiss

Me and Harry sang the chorus while looking at Ari and Kyla. The amount of love I saw in Ari's eyes was unbelievable.
