Kidnapped By Mistake

Chapter One

I woke up and wiped the sleep out of my eyes. This dorm room was not comfy. This bed was  cold.

A buzzer went off. Meaning it was time for class. I dressed in a short sleeve dress and threw a jacket over my thin, pale arms.

A loud bang rang in my ears as the door busted open, revealing my best friend in the world. He shoved me outside onto the campus grounds.

Michael hugged me his arms engulfing me in a protective bubble.

"How's it going sugar plum?" His arms flopped around as he jumped up and down in circles.

"It.. It's going I guess." Michael looked at me as I stared at the ground, walking slowly.

"Hey cheer up honey bun! Last day of school! No more tests or people!" His excitement made me shiver.

"Stop please, your gaydometer is spiking through the roof. I really  want school to stay open." He looked at me confused. His head shifted behind us and be sped up. His arm hair stood up on edge.

"We should skip school. Go to like, the park." His voices previous excitement vanished.

"Sure." He stood taller and put his arm over me. I looked at him.

"Hurry up Marianna." He took my hand and started walking faster. I turned around and sure enough, a guy was following us. A buff guy in a black hoodie pulled over his face.

"Hey! You! Stop following us!" I yelled. What did I have to loose?

Mikey yanked my arm. Hard.

"Shut up and keep walking. Please just listen to me." I tried to pull away from his grip but he was dragging me.

The guy in the black hoodie started sprinting towards us. His hood falling over his long, brown hair.

"Let her go man!" He yelled. When he got to us,he threw his arms around Michael and they both fell on the ground. The guy in the hoodie started punching Michael.

"Hey! Hey! Get off him!" I screamed making them both freeze.

Hoodie guy stood up and walked over to me. He was inches away from me. His eyes searching my face.

Those damned eyes.

He looked at me one more time then walked away back towards the school.

"That was bull shit!" Micheal said angrily. His eye started to bruise minutes after he was punched.

"Okay calm down. He probably thought you were gonna, like, rape me or something." Michael's eyes widened.

"IM GAY!" He shook the house with his loud voice. I grasped his arm a little harder.

"Okay Michael you need to calm down. Please just relax." I pleaded. We locked eyes and his breathing relaxed.

"Okay." He whispered, "I'm sorry. It's just I was trying to protect you from what I thought would hurt you and he hurt me instead." I stared at his lips, then back up to his eyes.

"I know. Thank you for that." His hands were still shaking.

As I left his house I went back to the school and stood by the entrance. Maybe I would see Michaels attacker.

"Hey! You! Blonde, skinny chick!" I turned around and a very angry looking mexican guy was coming twords me.

"Yeah?" I held my head up and my voice strong.

He got down to my height and whispered in my ear, "Come with me and no one gets hurt. Now." I looked around and no one was staring. A guy in a blue hoodie was glancing at us.

I recognise those eyes.

"Don't even fucking think about it. Lets go, now. You can have your man candy later." I hesitated.

What if he killed me? Or raped me? But what if he was serious and he would hurt someone I loved.

He stared at me until I agreed. Walking towards his car I looked back but Hoodie Guy wasn't there.

In his car we pulled up next to a small apartment type building. The sign was busted up and torn apart.

"What do you want from me?" I said.

Please don't hurt me.

I begged in my head. I had to hold my ground.

"Just keep your head down and don't fuck with anyone. Josh will explain later."

Who is Josh?

I wondered. We walked into the building and the smell of bleach nearly knocked me on my ass.

"Aw princess you better get used to it. Your gonna be here for a while." Mexican Guy said softly.

He lead me to a small room and shoved me inside. The door slid closed and I looked around.

A small bed, sink and mirror, small toilet stall. Glass by the door. The walls were a dark shade of blue with some oil like substance on them.

Small knocks at the door and a guy with a red beanie on his head walked in slowly.

"Hi. My names Joshua. People here call me Josh therefore you will too. Your here because your father has something that belongs to us, now we have something that belongs to him."

"Let me stop you right there. My father? He left us when I was five. And I will call you what I want to Joshua. Who was that guy in the hoodi"

"You will call me Josh weather you like it or not! You understand me girl!" He grabbed my neck and slammed me up against the wall. His arms twitched.

A mellow looking guy with.... those eyes. He walked in calmly and pushed Joshua off me.

"Chill out Josh. She's new."  He said quietly.

He was defending me?

Joshua walked out of the room and that left me abd Hoodie Guy alone.

"I can handle myself. But thanks." My voice quivered.

"Hey no problem. Are you alright?" He sounded sincere enough.

"Yeah I'm okay. What am I doing here?" My voice had returned to it's usual cold dead tone.

"I thought Josh told you. Oh. Okay well your dad, Lukas, stole our most prized possession. Now we needed something of his. They decided on his daughter." He described.

"But my dads name is Sam. He left us when I was five." Hoodie Guy shook his head.

He ignored me and continued on, "He took one our guys. He used to be one of us and his son was supposed to be too. He took his son and we took you." His eyes were cold now.

"Oh." That's all I could manage. I opened my mouth to speak again but nothing came out so Hoodie Guy spoke.

"My name is Nicholas. Call me what you please. This is your home now so go wherever you please. Just don't get into any fights. Please" He shivered like he was cold.

"Yeah. Yes. Okay. I promise."

With that he left and slammed the door behind him.
