She was sitting in the corner of the lawn with her laptop. She always sat in the corners because her importance in her own house was not more then a mopping stick - necessary, but filthy. She was unblinkingly staring at an email from the leader of Turkish students in Manchester University, not even showing the slightest bit of movement as if petrified, and the sooner her feet touched the ground she choked her scream, and instead gave a little squeak for which she was awarded a stern glare from Anneanne (grandmother) sitting in her rocking chair, cleaning her half-mooned spectacles; and a very similar reaction from the rest of the family, except Dede.

"I'm going to do some renovation in the shop. Don't mention it to anyone ...... specially, not to our Eliçen ..... she is jinxed, you know." Eliçen felt a ball of tears jammed in her throat, she swallowed it with immense difficulty and ran toward her room. She sat on the floor arms folded around her legs, water begin to fill her eyes. She was crying.
Sky outside begin to change the color from dark, mystifying black to pale blue. She was still sitting in the same posture, but her eyes, they weren't wet anymore. Ten minutes later she got up, decisively. She had had enough.... She was unable to bare it anymore.
