“Waaaah. Freedom.” I said happily. “I really need the toilet right now. Wait here Mia.” Rinig kong sabi ni Cedric at nagmamadaling lumabas. So kanina pa pala siya nag-pipigil. Haha.
“Haha. That kid really is a headache. Anyway, he’s better than before.” Rocky habang nagpupunas ng mga turnilyo at kung anu-ano pa.
“Couldn’t imagine.” Jeez. The first guy who would go that far just to date me.. >_<
“Well, he’s always been the naughty and badass kid until he met this girl who made his heart beat for the first time.”- Rocky. And that caught my attention. So there’s a girl in Cedric’s heart. Naalala ko ang sinabi ni Cedric kanina na naranasan niya na 'yun kaya niya alam. Hmm..
“But I guess he’s moved on by now. I hope he is. He already brought you here so that’s something already.” Pagtutuloy niya and he felt relieved.
“We’re not, actually. No. Not like that, we’re just f-f-friends.” Hays. Pahirapan pang sabihin ang salitang ‘friends’.
“Oh. Ganun ba. Sorry to misunderstand.” He smiled at bumalik sa ginagawa niya. I smiled back at nagtingin-tingin muna habang nag-iintay kay Cedric. Ang tagal naman ng lalaking ‘yun.
“Mia, let’s go.” Tawag sa akin ni Cedric sa may pintuan at hindi na siya pumasok pa. “Thanks Rocky. I’ll come by next time.” pagtutuloy niya at lumakad na paalis.
Lalakad na din ako palabas nang biglang hawakan ako sa braso ni Rocky. “Mia, this might be wrong but Cedric is like a brother to me and he’s a little wayward.” He chuckled. “Just be gentle and more understanding to him. Hindi man halata but he’s still experiencing some heartache.”
“Uhh.”
“What am I saying? That’s too much to ask. Forget that. Anyway, it’s my pleasure to meet you and hope to see you again.” He smiled again and I bid my farewell.
A heartache? I’ve heard no news about him being brokenhearted. If he is, he's very good in hiding.
Lumabas na ako ng bahay nina Rocky at bumungad sakin si Cedric at Vince na parehas nag-aantay.
Oh my.
Lumakad si Vince papunta sakin at hinawakan ang kamay ko at para bang nakuryente ako. Hinila niya ako papunta sa kotse nang biglang humarang si Cedric sa daan.
