I absolutely HATE stories where the main girl or woman is a huge bitch. There is a such difference between being strong and not taking any shit vs just flat out being an asshole for no reason.

It's one thing if somebody comes at them sideways and they get them together real quick, BUT if nothing has happened and/or the person or people they're addressing have been nothing but nice to them then...why they being so extra? That mess is not cute, attractive, or appealing. Being a bitch does NOT make them tough or cool and in the end they just wind up looking stupid and irritating the readers. Do better please.

*EXAMPLE 1*

As I was walking down the street, I suddenly felt a gentle tap on my back.

"H-Hi." The stranger, I have now concluded was a man, stuttered out.

"What?" I replied sharply. I don't know who he is nor do I care.

"I-I was w-wondering if you'd l-like to maybe go out sometime. Y-You're a very beautiful lady and I'd like to get to know you." The man replied back like a scary child.

"No, now leave me alone." I replied back before curtly turning and continuing my walk.

*PAUSE*

Let's evaluate what just happened.

Did that man disrespect her?
When he tried to get her attention did he roughly grab her or harm her in any way?
Did he ask her out in a fuckboy manner?
No? THEN WHY SHE GOT AN ATTITUDE?

If she didn't want to go out with him she could've told him no in a polite way. There was no reason for her to be disrespectful when disrespect was not given.

*EXAMPLE 2*

It was my first day at my new school and I already hated it. I haven't been here 2 minutes and I already wanted to blow my brains out. Why would my mom do this to me? I had a life and friends back in California, yet here I am stuck in crumby ass Virginia.

As I walked up to the school ready to look for the office I was stopped in my tracks by a girl with wavy mocha hair blocking my path.

"Hi, my name's Emma. Are you new here?"

I rolled my eyes before replying "Obviously, can I go now?"

"Oh, uh yeah, sorry. I was just wondering if you needed help finding the front office. It can get confusing."

"Did I ask for your help? I am perfectly capable of finding it on my own. Buh bye now."

Gosh I'm going to hate this place.

*MUTHAFUCKIN PAUSE*

I had no idea Emma killed that girl's uncle. Oh she didn't? Then I don't understand, because that's the ONLY acceptable reason as to why sis had such a attitude when all Emma did was try to help her out.

This is such a common trend in a lot of Wattpad books and I hate it. I know these are only stories and made up but DAMN I don't wanna spend my time reading about a bitchy female who needs they ass beat. So a tip for any future or current authors : We like baddies, not bitches. What I mean by that is I think people would rather read about a bomb ass girl then a bitchy little brat. You can hold your own and be a dope person WITHOUT being a douche. It's not hard y'all.

Now if the book is about a girl who ends up learning NOT to be a bitch and has some serious damage control done to their personality then that's a different story. It would make sense for the main girl to be bitchtastic in that situation but if the story is about werewolves and the main girl's personality isn't apart of the plot so she just is a bitch then HELL. NAW.
