How imperfect a person am I?
Go through your purse and put on you disguise
You see the stars, but they just see the skies
And you see my scars, what do they see?
If I was the question, would you be my answer?
If I was the music, would you be the dancer?
If I was the student, would you be the teacher?
If I was the sinner, would you be the preacher?
Would you be my
N' dun d-dun dun
I still got a lot of shit to learn, I'll admit it
N' dun d-dun dun
I still got a lot of shit to learn, I'll admit it
N' dun d-dun dun
We still got a lot of shit to learn, just admit it
N' dun d-dun dun
We still got a lot of shit to learn, don't you get it?
Got your finger on the trigger and you aiming at the mirror
Don't you shoot, that ain't you, nah
'Cause on the outside you pretending
But you hurtin' in the inner, what's the truth, what's the truth now?
How imperfect a person am I?
Go through your purse and put on your disguise
You see the stars, but they just see the skies
And you see my scars what do they see?

Cheers to the fact that you're living in, this is your world
They say they ain't feeling you, they livin' in the old world
Word to my old girl, and word to me too
I only say it and I might because I need to
Feeling like I'm see through and life is a window
I be runnin' opposite the way that the wind blow
You pick up the pieces of the things that you didn't know
So when you hear the top you better scream that you been though
If I was the question, would you be my answer?
If I was the music, would you be the dancer?
If I was the student, would you be the teacher?
If I was the sinner, would you be the preacher?

After the song ended, I realized we were in a parking lot. I looked over at Jason, confused. He looked at me, and rubbed his neck awkwardly, "I... uh...I don't know were you live. So I stopped here while you singing and I didn't want to interrupt you. So uh will you tell me your address?" He had a red tint to his cheeks, HE WAS BLUSHING!
"Uh yeah. I actually have to go to work. Just drop me off at the Sunny Side Café please. You remember where is right?" He nodded his head and started the car again. As he drove to the Cafe, I leaned my head against the window. I closed my eyes just for a second.
I was being shook awake by Jason. I looked outside and saw the Cafe. I turned towards Jason. "Thanks for umm the ride. I'll umm see you later. O-okay bye." I started to get out of the car, when I felt his hand wrap around my wrist. I stopped and looked at him. He let go of my wrist and scratched his neck. "I'm sorry. About this morning. I didn't know it was you, but that doesn't make what I did okay. I just don't have any woman living in my house, I thought you were some one bad. I'm am so so sorry Sky." He looked like he was about to cry. "It's okay. I understand. I shouldn't have done what I did. Now thank you for the ride and helping my but I really do have to go. Goodbye Jason." I looked at him one more time the got out of the car and started walking to the Cafe. I explained to Linda what happened. She wanted me to go home and take a few days off but I couldn't, I had to pay my rent somehow.
*Jason's point of view*
After she left. I just sat there. I didn't know what to do anymore. I really like her but I can't. I can't like her. I can't let her know what I do for a living, or let her get caught up in the gang life. It's to dangerous for her.
After awhile I go inside. Not to see Sky or anything. Just for some food. Yeah I only want food. I sit in the same spot as last time and hope Sky comes over and serves me. After waiting a few minutes, a blond girl comes over, she has on a shirt that's like two sizes too small. It had her fake boobs hanging out, and she had on short shorts that had her ass hanging out as well.
She leaned over the table, "Hey handsome, welcome to Sunny Side, what can I get cha baby?" She leaned over and her shirt was hanging off. "Uhmm yeah I don't want a blond bimbo, can you go get Sky, I'd rather have her. She at least has morals." She looked shocked. "I don't know why you'd want that little piece of trash. She's worthless. At least I could show you a good time! But fine! I'll got get her. But just so you know, don't expect to get anything out of her. She has a stick stuck up her ass." She walked away.
A little while later, Sky starts walking over here. She sees me and smiles. But I can tell it's forced.
"Hey Jason, what do you want? Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I didn't mean for it to come out that way! I'm so sorry!" She was rambling, I don't understand why she was all upset.
"It's okay, I just want one stack of pancakes, and a black coffee. I didn't have a breakfast." I said smirking. She looked down and blushed. "I am so sorry, Jason. I really am sorry. Pl-" I hold up my hand to stop her from talking. "It's fine, I just want my food. So can you please go get it for me? Thanks" I hated being meant to her but I couldn't fall for her.
*20 Min later*
After I ate my food I left the Cafe. I couldn't be around her anymore without bending her over that counter and taking her right then. I went home and now I'm in my office. I get on the phone and call Jake, "Hey I want you to run a background check on a girl named Skylar Israel. I want to know everything about her. Okay great get it to me when you get done." I'm going to get to know you Sky , I'm going to protect you.
*Hey my name is Chelsey. This is my second book. I hope you all like it so far. I'm really proud of it, I'm trying to make the chapters a bit longer, I hate short chapters so I'm going to try my best not to write them. If you have any ideas for the book or anything you want to say anything feel free to comment. Love you bunches!!*
