I laugh as I watch a Guard chase after me I wasn't supposed to be outside the castle walls, I also wasn't suppose to be barefoot and wearing black skinny jeans but I was anyway. The Guard was fast but not fast enough I manage to round the corner and make a break for lake that was behind the castle, I sprint towards the pier which wasn't actually a pier more so just a small dock that was about three boards long I can almost feel the water on my skin I'm almost ready to jump when two strong arms wrap around my midsection and pull me back. I groan at the sudden tug and slump forwards this wasn't fair!

"And where do you think you're going?" The Guard asks.

"Well my plan was to dive into the lake but you kinda foiled it so..." The Guard tsks at me and carries me back to the castle.

"Your mother isn't going to be impressed."

"When is she ever impressed? That woman is," The Guard stops and drops me, "a wonderful lady who is absolutely top notch." I say as my mother comes into view.

"What are you doing outside the walls again? What is this? The tenth time this week? I can't keep count and I shouldn't have to." She rouses.

"Well maybe if you let me outside the wall every once and a while you wouldn't have to keep count!" I start to yell but mum raises her brow and I quiet down.

"Willow please just accept that you don't have to leave these walls, not until you become Queen, I can't have Guards trailing your every movement because you are rebelling." I grit my teeth.

"I'm not rebelling! I want to see outside the castle walls! I want to be free and not have to have someone watching over me! I don't even want to be the stupid Queen!" I finally snap.

I glare at my mother for a moment before running inside, I run straight to my room and slam my door in anger. This just isn't right, I don't even get a choice on whether I want to be Queen or not I mean I'm sixteen for Pete's sake! Most days I can't even decide whether I want to wear sweats or jeans how could my mother expect me to run a Kingdom? I flop down onto my mattress and bite into my pillow I let out a scream but it was interrupted by a loud knock on my door.

"Willow?" I stop my screaming and wait.

"Willow, can we talk?" I give a muffled yes.

My door opens and in walks Chase, he shuts the door softly then smiles at me he sprints to the bed and flops himself down making me bounce to the other side of the bed.

"What's cracking lil' sister?" I glare at him and he holds his hands up in mock surrender.

"Mum caught you again?" I sigh and nod.

"You should probably give up you know," I glare at him again, "or not you could continuously keep getting caught that's good too." I roll my eyes.

"Why can't you take the stupid throne?" Chase tugs on a strand of my hair just like he use to when we were younger.

"We've been over this Will." I yell in frustration because this still wasn't fair.

"Also don't call me Will, dad use to call me that." Chase pokes my shoulder blade and then pulls me upright.

I put all my weight on him which didn't seem to affect him.

"C'mon Willow don't be such a downer."

"You would be like this too if you were trapped inside this hellhole." I say under my breath.

"I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that, what did you say?"

"Never mind." He smirks knowingly.

"Just you wait, I guarantee you'll love being Queen, watch all the guys flock around you and have people at your beck and call." I slap him softly.

"I just want to have a normal life, being a Princess of Fae isn't normal. I'm going to be Queen soon that isn't normal, I keep trying to find normalcy but I can't find it here." He nods.

"I know you want to be normal but you were born into a family that isn't, you have a big responsibility here you can't just run away. You have to be what you were born to be and that is Queen, whether you like it or not." I move away from Chase.

"You're just like the others!" I slide off the bed and head to my door.

"Screw you Chase!" I throw open my door and storm out.

I head down to the garden, it's where I go to think. I don't hear anybody inside so I walk in and sit on the bench I touch one of the vines on the plants and it starts to wrap around my finger, I tell it to behave and it unravels itself from my arm then makes its way down my calf I leave it be though because it seems to want to be close to me.

"I don't suppose you want me to be Queen to do you?" The vine twists itself all the way down my leg and then pulls.

"Hey what's with you?" It kept pulling me.

I hop off the bench and it stops pulling me it unwraps itself and then slithers along the ground towards the back window.

"Are you telling me to leave? Why?" I follow the vine and I step in mud by accident.

"I like the outdoors but not this much." I shake my feet and the mud flys off.

I head towards the window and the vine climbs the greenhouse wall, it points to the lock and I unlock the latch I notice the dark inky sky, I've only got a few more hours until my coronation my stomach starts to hurt and my eyes blur for a quick second.

"And where do you think you're going?" I freeze in my spot.

I turn around slowly and saw three men standing just a few feet away from me.

"Who are you?" I ask shakily.

"That's not important what is is that you're soon to be Queen, they can't see you walking around with muddy feet now can they?" I was confused.

"Who?"

"Your new Kingdom." Then the smoke starts it swirls around there feet and makes its way towards me.

This wasn't good.
