Maya's Pov
Well it's the weekend, we all know what that means, today I'm meeting Riley's uncle Josh.
I feel so nervous for some reason.
I kept on wondering how he would be, would he be gentle or maybe he wouldn't like me?
I started to panic.
"Bye mom" I said as I walked out the door
As soon as I arrived to Riley's apartment, she was excited to see me, as always.
"Yay, Maya's here" Riley said as I entered.
"So when is your uncle Josh coming?"
"In 5 minutes, you came right on time"
"Cool."
"Hey Maya, I forgot to ask you at school why you never texted me. I mean, didn't I give you my new number?"
"Well I did but um.. it was the wrong number."
"Oh wait, can I see the number?"
"Yeah sure."
When i showed her the number she laughed. I was confused.
"What's so funny?" i asked
"I accidentally wrote down an 8 instead of 3" she told me as she giggled.
"Oh" was all I let out.
"Yeah"
"Well this kid named Josh keeps texting me, from the wrong number you gave me, he's so annoying!" Was he really annoying though?
"Oh my god." was all Riley said.
I was so confused once again.
But before I could say anything else, the door opened as some cheerful guy said "Hey family."
That must be Riley's uncle Josh.
Well, this should be interesting.
