"follow your heart"
being told this is like you setting me on fire
when i say what my heart wants , it's always wrong
cause god dammit, all my heart wants is you
and that's wrong because you're a girl?

i hate the way the air shifts into place when you're near
it makes it hard to deny that there's something here.
i can't just try and forget you because my heart is begging for you
"use your brain every once and a while" they say
but i can't do that cause my heart and mind are intertwined
my heart and mind are always on the same page
they both come back to you no matter how many times i say no
cause your heart and mind want someone else.
