Short Story
He pushed the door closed with his foot as I sobbed. "This has gotten out of hand Megan." Shawn murmured. "Are you sure this is what you want?"
I looked up at him. "Yes." This is what I want. Well no, It's not. What I want is for my boyfriend back. MY boyfriend would have ran after me. MY boyfriend wouldn't have called me such nasty names. MY boyfriend wouldn't have kept secrets from me.
"Megan. I see your face. You know thats not what you want. Your spending all your time in this wrong situation. You want this to change. And it won't. Any time you want this too stop. Let me know." Shawn says looking deep in my eyes.
I shiver under his light brown eyes. "What do you mean?" I whispered, he doesn't mean what I think he means does he?
"You need a gentleman Megan. Someone that will love, care, and respect you. Love, I know I can Treat You Better. Way better then he can." Shawn says with so much emotion.
I wanted to cry. I do love Shawn. He makes me feel like Ethan used too. The butterflies, the shivers, the loving personality. But Ethan is who I want, I think. I began shaking my head.
Shawn looked brokened but he nodded. "In time. I know you will understand. For now I accept your decision."
Tears pressed my eyes but Shawn pulled me in for a hug, comforting me. HE was comforting ME. I started crying.
"Hey, Hey. It's ok. I got your present!" Shawn says. He wipes my tears and pulls away. He digs in his pocket and gives me square blue box. I smile. I carefully open it and gasp at what I saw.

It looks expensive. "Pure gold." Shawn whispers. I take it out and hand it to him.
I turn my back to him and lift my hair. He gently clips it around my neck. I smile happily. I turn to him and hug him.
