It's that time of year again. Sleep away camp. Now I know that some people are already away, but, some aren't, like me. Here's a typical camp packing list for those of you that need it. Disclaimer, this doesn't include camp dress codes, remember to keep that in mind!
☆ Clothing:
7-8 shorts • three denim, three flowey, 1-2 athletic
8-9 shirts • three tank, four tee, 1-2 athletic
10 pairs of socks
1 raincoat/light jacket
3-4 pairs of pajamas • 1 flannel, 2-3 regular
2 swimsuits • 1 competitive/pool swim, 1 other
14 pairs of underwear
Causal dress or skirt
Hat
☆ Bedding:
Laundry bag
5 towels • 2 bath towels, 2 beach towels, 1 hand towel
2 sheet sets • 1 flannel, 1 jersey material
Mattress pad
1 blanket/sleeping bag • (I recommend) 1 light sleeping bag, 1 flannel blanket
1 pillow
☆ Footwear
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of sandals/flip flops
1 pair of hiking shoes
☆ Toiletries
1 comb/brush
Body wash • (I suggest) liquid soap
Shampoo
Conditioner
1 plastic cup
2-3 razors
Shaving cream
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Sunscreen • for your face and body
Bug spray
☆ Other
Sunglasses
Flashlight and batteries • (I suggest) a mini flashlight and a larger one
Camera • the disposable ones from Urban Outfitters or CVS
Post cards/paper and envelopes • I suggest enough for the number of days you're staying(ish) (14 days = 10/12 letters)
Stamps
Books
Sharpie/clothing labels
