I know most of you have been fed the normal Catholic/Private school stereotypes.
1-snobby rich kids
2-stuck up
3-Innocent children shielded from the real world
4-Bible country foke that love singing songs about Jesus
5-Are scared of the devil and strive to cast out Satan by the power of JESUS
Hahahahahahaha
*whips tear from eye*
If only this was true...
My old school (Private Catholic School) felt like a public school in disguise. It was fine up until around middle school. Middle school I think is when we opened our eyes.
We do normal things that all kids do in school. We have homework and tests and teachers that we absolutely despise.
And they know we despise them.
We make sure they know we despise them.
Take my old art teacher for example.
The art teacher job at my school was much like the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in Harry Potter.
It was cursed as hell.
But instead of extra faces on ones head and werewolves we had a little thing called the miracle of life.
Pregnancy.
Why couldn't you have swooped in and taken this art teacher too????
Unlike the 20 other art teachers we had, this one didn't get pregnant. We hated her guts.
She put name tags on our seats like we were dogs XD. Whenever we'd go to class we switched up all the name tags so she would get really confused when she came in to teach. One girl particularly hated her. Let's call her Lily.
Every class she would get into fights with the teacher. The teacher told her to stop drawing.
We were in art class.
We were all like wtf???
She started arguing with her like the usual art class. After class we went into the hallway to wait until the bell rang. I had been telling her and a few other people at my table about a scene in a Brandon Rodgers video where he says 'Jesus is my helmet.' So we decided that on the count of three we would say that in the hallway just to get on the teachers nerves.
I counted to three and two of us said 'Jesus is my helmet' in a normal voice. Lily didn't get the memo.
Lily screams at the top of her lungs, "JESUS IS MY HELMET!"
The teacher freaked out and asked who did it.
To this day she has no clue it was Lily.
The teachers house also burned down.....
I still suspect Lily...
