Leaning her cheek into the palm of her hands, Sutton looks at the trees shake through the window. For Sutton it'd been an extremely long week, being that she failed her test in Trigonometry. She sighs and focuses back on the trees.
"Sutton!" She hears someone call her name and turns back to Alexis who's sitting right in front of her. "Jesus Christ, I've been calling your name this whole time. Were you not listening?"
"I'm gonna be completely honest with you," Sutton sighs, "I was imagining violently fucking your boyfriend in the ass." She humors making Alexis smirk.
"See I would be offended but I'm very Single." Alexis chuckles throwing some food at Sutton. "But seriously what's up, you've been looking at those trees for like ten minutes straight." Alexis could always tell when something was up with Sutton, they've been best friends since third grade. She knows the ends and outs of Sutton and for anything, she can tell of she's feeling some type of way. "Is this about Liam?"
Sutton sighs knowing that she's still not really over Liam, but its not even about him. "Its not about Liam, ok." she says looking around the lunch room. "I just failed that trigonometry quiz. Like when I say failed I mean like I fucked up."
"Shit and I thought I was the one who's bad at math." Alexis says looking at her worried. "How the fuck did you fail a trig quiz if your mom teaches it?" Sutton rolls her eyes and redirects her eyes over Justin who just plopped down next to her. Sutton sighs and leans her head in Justin's shoulder.
"what's wrong hun?" he says looking around the room for Jason. "is it about Liam, I'll kill his ass if you want."
"Its not about Liam ok!" Sutton exclaims just as he walks into the lunch room with his new candy under his arm.
"Ugh, he's such a fucking asshole. He Doesnt deserve you." Alexis frowns looking at the two cheaters sit down at the table across from them.
"Right," Jason says appear out of thin air making everyone jump.
"Where the fuck did you come from!?"Alexis screams.
"My moms vagina, and did you guys hear that tomorrow is junior ditch day."
"Because of the eclipse?" Sutton asks blankly watching Liam and his new toy, aleisha, making out. All of her friends look at her in disblief. She's been waiting for this eclipse for a long time, and the fact that she's not blowing up with excitement is pretty terrifying.
"Um, Sutty, are you ok?" Alexis worried.
She shifts in her seat uncomfortably, while looking at Liam and the girl who sat directly in front of them in the table.
Jason scowls then stands up and walks over to Liam's table. Once he gets there he slams his fish on the table right in front of the pair then sits down in front of them "I don't know what's your fucking problem but I'm getting tired of it." Most of the people sitting at the table start staring at him. Jason is a scary dude...handsome but scary, you could say intimidating. Who wouldn't be intimidated by a dude who's 6'1?
Liam starts getting uncomfortable and plays dumb "what are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about asshole. Get a fucking grip on your life and stop being such a fuckboy. Go fuckoff you damn prick." He finishes with the stares of everyone at the table then stands up and goes back to where he was sitting before.
Justin looks at him and bites his lip,"damn, that was sexy."
Jason smirks then looks over at Sutton. "You feeling better Sutty?"
She smiles feeling the protection of all of her friends around her then looks up at him and nods. "Yeah, and I can't fucking wait till Friday. We can meet up at my moms school." Everyone nods in agreement then the bell rings and everyone splits up to go to their classes.

The school day is ends for group and Everyone piles in Jason's jeep wrangler.
"We're carpooling right?" Alexis asks Sutton while shes on her phone.
"Yeah we'll pick you up, just be ready on time." Sutton responds recording her without her realizing.
"I know you're recording me bitch." Alexis snarls as she covers the camera with her hand.
Sutton chuckles and turns her phone off then looks out the window and notices the big white letters of the neighborhood sign Maypole Grove. Justin and Sutton live in the same neighborhood, and they're actually across the street from each other. While growing up they actually despised one another. They finally became friends in the middle of freshman year. They get out of the truck and wave at their friends.
"Bye you guys!" They yell waving then Sutton and Justin split to walk to their own houses.
Sutton walks to her door and unlocks it when her neon green key and walks inside. She closes the door and locks it back then closes her eyes and leans her forehead on the hard wood of the door.
"Sutton is that you?" She barely hears her mom yell from in her office.
"Yup," she sighs not wanted to talk about her day with her mom. "Its me." She walks to the kitchen and the sight of the beautiful white decor makes her smile a bit. She goes straight to the pantry to look for a snack, the first thing she finds is a bag of Takis. She snatches the bag out of the pack and turns to her refrigerator and looks for the Snapple. Sutton is in love with Snapple. She buys it herself, with her own money, so that its all hers. If anyone takes one she'll most likely kill them in their sleep. She takes a bottle then walks upstairs. Her room is on the third floor, alone with no one elses, but to get there she has to pass her moms office. To avoid confrontation she books it to her room without looking back. After making it to her room without her mom saying a thing she sighs in relief and walks inside throwing her bag on the floor then jumping into her bed. She gets her MacBook from under her pillow, but before she can even turn it on her phone starts blowing up.
"The hell...?" She looks at it confused because her friends know not to text her from 2:30-4:30, and from the looks of her clock its 2:40. Just as shes about to unlock her phone, she gets a call from her mom. They call each other because the walls are sound proof.
"Too much is going on..." she answers her phone. "Yes mom?"
"Come downstairs. Right now."
"O-ok...I love you."
"Love you too." Her mom finishes then hangs up.
"Fuckkk..." Sutton groans not knowing whats gonna happen.
