You were walking on the dock near your father's boat holding a lit candle when you saw the silhouette of what looked like a pirate drinking rum. "Come closer" you said. The figure noticed your presence and ran off. "Wait" you said. But the person kept on running.

"Y/N, it's the day of your wedding. Get up" said your dad. You groaned and pulled the covers over you so your whole body is under it. Your dad walks in the room and pulls the covers away from your face. "Y/N, you do know that there's no way out of this marriage" he said to you. "Please don't remind me. Why is it that I can't marry someone that I truly love?" you asked. Your dad sat on the bed and dragged you out. "You're going to marry Andrew and there's NOTHING you can do about it" said dad. "Whatever" you said. "Now get ready, we're leaving in 2 hours" said dad. "Ok" you said, reluctantly dragging yourself out of bed and pulling on your black and red wedding dress. The maids helped you into all your wedding clothes. You were reaching for your hairbrush when you felt a folded piece of paper next to your brush instead. "Oh, ya. That was delivered here last night. I heard a knock at the door, I opened it, but there was only a note at the doorstep. I came into your room and set it on the nightstand while you were sleeping" dad explained. You unfolded the note and it read:

Hi, Y/N. You don't remember me. But I think I remember you. I would like to meet you in person and see how you're doing. Go to the dock by Janice's rum store at 2:30pm. Signed, C.J.S.

You re-fold the note and stuff it into your pocket. "What'd the note say?" asked dad. "Oh, nothing important" you said as you slipped into your black high heels and race walked to the car. Dad joined you and soon were on your way to be married. While in the car, you looked at the note again and was debating in your head wether to meet this person, or marry someone that you don't love one bit. (A/N you know that thing in cartoons and movies where there's a angle on one side of a person and a demon on the other side, well that's what happening now). "Come on, Y/N. Go meet this person. If you do, then you won't have to marry Andrew" said the demon. "No, Y/N. Don't go meet this person. What if they kidnap you? What if they abduct you? What if they kill you?" asked the angle. "Come on, Y/N. What would you rather do? Marry someone you don't love at all, or run off to meet a random stranger?" asked the demon. "Stop, please. You're making a big mistaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake" said the angle as you flicked it off your shoulder. "Ok, we're here. Time to get married" said dad as he looked at the backseat to find it empty.
