Chapter 1

"Seren! Bumaba ka na diyan! Malelate ka na naman!" Sigaw ni Mom mula sa baba. Kahit kailan talaga ang lakas ng boses niya. Tama lang naman ang lakas ng boses ko ah?

Tumayo na ako at inayos ang kama. Bago bumaba naligo muna ako ng ilang minuto saka kinamusta sina Mommy.

"Goodmorning Mom, Dad." I said before sitting down to eat. As usual, Mom is being talkative while Dad holds his newspapers. Seriously? Today we have technology yet they kept wasting energy reading and flipping those things. Ako napapagod kay Dad eh.

"Seren, is everything okay with your grades these past few weeks? I'm sorry if your Mom and I are being busy. Don't worry we'll make sure to have a family bonding when we are free." Dad apologizes. Ito talaga ang gusto ko sa kanila ni Mom eh. Kahit na lagi silang busy sa work nila hindi pa rin nila ako nakakalimutang bigyan ng oras.

"Hon, nasa harapan tayo ng pagkain. Mamaya mo na ituloy iyan." Mom said which Dad immediately follow and put the newspaper away. "Seren baby, hurry up. Naghihintay na si Butler Ken sa labas."

"Yes Mom. Dad siguraduhin mo lang iyan! Ako mismo susugod sa office niyo!" I finished eating so tumayo na ako at kinuha ang aking bag. Pero bago pa ako makalabas narinig ko ang tawa nilang dalawa at tumango. Nang makalabas na ako nakita ko si Butler Ken na nakatayo at naghihintay. Hindi na ako nagsayang ng oras at pumasok na sa sasakyan.

"Goodmorning Miss Seren." Bati sa niya sa akin na sinuklian ko lang ng ngiti. He started the engine and drove off.

Another day for another life.

"Miss Seren, we are here." Butler Ken said as he disturb my moment. Bumaba na ako at nagpaalam si Butler Ken. Another normal day. Another happy day. Another day waisting energy. Lels. Hindi halata pero tamad talaga ako. Bleeh!

As I started walking at the lobby it's like I had caught so many eyes. And in one, two three... start.

"Isn't that Seren? The lucky girl?"

"Yeah! It is her! Woah she's a beauty."

"She's really lucky! Having rich and influential family!"

"Gusto kong lumapit sa kanya! I want to have some luck!"

"Tara! Batiin natin siya!"

"Ooops! Better not girls. If I were you I won't do that."

"She might be lucky but her attitude is not that friendly."

"Yeah. Better back off."

Right on cue. Tss. People waisting their energy with useless things. Pinabayaan ko nalang iyong mga naninira at diretso sa paglalakad na para bang walang narinig. Sayang lang ng energy kung kakausapin ko pa sila.

Pumasok na ako sa room kung saan ako nakaassigned. Sakto naman kasunod ko lang si Sir Otto, our first subject teacher. After greeting him, we leisurely seated.

"As for now we should have a surprise quiz but then something suddenly came up. Mag-iiwan lang muna ako sa inyo ng project. I'll be out for a week better finish it before I get back." Sir Otto announced which made the class shout for joy. They're quite been lucky early in the morning ey? This is not surprising tho.
