So basically, there's a few people who I know are apart of the LGBTQ+ community, including myself; I'm transgender and pansexual, and I'm really proud of who I am.
There are also some people I know that are apart of it, but won't call someone their preferred pronouns or name. They may be bisexual, and know that somebody is transgender, but won't call them their preferred pronouns or name. Which to me is quite hypocritical. If you say that you support LGBTQ+ and are apart of it but won't let someone be themselves, why do you say that you support it when you really only accept yourself, and everyone else is wrong because they aren't the same as you?
If you are apart of the LGBTQ+ community and don't support transgender/lesbian/gay/pansexual/asexual/bisexual individuals or another gender or sexuality, then you really don't support the whole community, you just support the people in the same boat as you. Which isn't okay in my opinion because if you are apart of the community, why do you hate others for expressing themselves for who they truly are and who they truly want to be?
If you are apart of the LGBTQ+ community, but don't support someone in the community for being who they are, rethink your opinion and read this again.
