"Deja, You seen my charger?" I asked my bestfriend since middle school as I searched through my overnight bag.

"Nah, I haven't seen it" She replied staring down at her phone, but I was sure I didn't leave it back at my place.

I sighed, "Why is that everytime I come over here some of my shit goes missing?" I looked up while continuing to search through my bag.

"Probably because you never keep up with ya' shit," She replied, before standing up and viewing her reflection in her full length mirror.

Rolling my eyes, I sighed knowing it was true. She always has a smart ass comeback for every little thing.

"But I gotta question, Ya' think I'm getting thick?" She asked while twisting and turning in the mirror.

"Babygirl, You always been thick" I hyped her up a little. "Turn around fa' me," I told her, while staring at her slim body figure.

She did as told while poking her back out a little. "Timmy Thick ain't got nothing on you, Babygirl" I laughed as she started twerking.

Deja was the complete opposite of me, She's always fun to be around and she never have a problem with speaking her mind.

"But really, let me use ya' charger?" I asked, looking down at the battery percentage on my phone.

"I only got ten percent, No ma'am" She said checking her phone. "Just ask Boomer if you can borrow his" She stated, referring to her older brother.

"You know I can't do that" I told her, as she stared at me through her reflection in the mirror.

She knew exactly how I felt about him.

"Alright, I'll ask him but you owe me" She said before leaving out the room while I followed behind her.

Once we reached the living room area, the loud smell of smoke instantly invaded our noses.

"Damn, Y'all need to let up a window in here" Deja complained while waving her hand over her face.

I watched as Boomer and his friends Ben, Kd, 3three and last but not least Youngboy passed a blunt in rotation.

Shaking my head, I scanned around the room and noticed the mess laid out on the coffee table in front of them. Their mother worked full time so she's barely home.

"Boomer, Where ya' charger? I need to see it" Deja pushed his head as he focused on the game on the screen.

"Over there," He nodded in the direction of the opposite side of the room while tucking in his bottom lip and showing his jawline.

Man, He was too fine for his own good.

"Damn, don't choke ya'self" She told 3three as he stuffed a sandwich in his mouth.

I started to laugh but stopped when and I noticed somebody staring a hole through my face. "Is there a problem?" I asked him as he continued to stare while releasing smoke his mouth.

Out of their whole entire group, Youngboy was the one I disliked the most. "Ya' wide ass hips blockin' the way" He replied.

I started to say something but Deja stopped me. "Girl, don't even entertain his ugly ass" She grabbed my arm and guided me up stairs.

As she handed me the charger, I stopped in my tracks. "Isn't this my charger?" I noticed my initials on the side. I had written it there because back at my house people like to take things and claim it's theirs.
