Prologue: I don't think you know what it means.
The use of "shriek" 6x in one paragraph. Similar use of repetition for "poetic" effect. Narrative is not literary enough to pull it off.
Starting the story with a long-drawn battle scene. Dangerous idea. No one gives a shit about any of your characters yet. I don't give a shit enough to continue.
